Education BS Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA; 2013 Professional Experience Daniel joined PFA Engineering in December 2015 as an HVAC Project Engineer and became an Associate in 2021. He began his professional career as an HVAC Engineering Co-op in 2011 at Newcomb & Boyd while earning his degree at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA. Having spent more than a decade in the field of consulting engineering, Daniel has amassed experience from a variety of industry sectors, system types and design/construction team formats. He continues to grow his experience across many aspects of the business of consulting engineering including HVAC design, production (Autodesk Revit® and AutoCAD® 2D), project management and business development. His most unique experiences include aquatic centers, oncology/pharmacy compounding suites, chilled beams, dual duct systems and pumping system modeling and optimization. Brian joined PFA Engineering in February 2008 as an HVAC Project Engineer. Prior to joining the firm, Brian worked as a process engineer at General Chemical Plant in Augusta. Prior to that, Brian worked as a mechanical engineer at PM&A in Augusta, Georgia and earlier at Cheatwood, Hayes, Brown in Birmingham, Alabama. His experience includes design and project management of HVAC, plumbing and process systems for commercial, industrial and government facilities. Since joining the firm, Brian has been involved in a variety of HVAC projects including various hospital renovations, nursing home renovations, educational facilities, and central plant designs.
Martin Ford has over 30 years of experience in the design of mechanical systems for buildings. Prior to his tenure in the consulting engineering business, he worked as a Plant Engineer, first in an industrial facility and later at an acute care hospital. His experience in the plant engineering and facility management field gives him a unique perspective on the design of mechanical systems that meet the Owner's needs. He has professional design and consulting experience in a variety of settings and for a variety of design professional and building owner clients. Martin has been an employee of the firm since 1989 and a principal of the firm since 1994.

Joe Powell joined the firm in 1991 as a plumbing and fire protection project engineer and became an Associate in 2014. He has experience in the design of mechanical systems for buildings, and has been involved heavily with commercial and institutional plumbing as well as fire protection since he joined the firm. He is experienced in all applications of domestic plumbing, fire protection, natural gas distribution, as well as specialized piping systems used in laboratory and healthcare applications.

Professional Experience
Nonso joined PFA Engineering in September 2021 as an HVAC Project Engineer. Prior to joining the firm, Nonso spent four years in Denver, Colorado working as an EIT Mechanical Engineer for Cushing Terrell. His experience includes HVAC systems design, renovations, surveying sites and extensive Autodesk Revit® 3D modeling. He has design experience in health care, grocery stores, government facilities, assisted living, manufacturing, warehouses and higher education.
