Prop Shop Hobbies, Inc. was established by founder Thomas J. Brubaker, Sr. October 23, 1975. His goal was to provide modelers with all they needed for their radio control hobby. He was known as the "parts guy" throughout the Metro Detroit area. If you needed a part Tom had it or would order it up and keep an exra on hand "just in case". As the R/C hobby grew so did Prop Shop Hobbies. Outgrowing its original store, Prop Shop moved up the street In November of 1985 to a larger store.
