Amy Anstead

Dr. Anstead completed the prestigious fellowship in rhinology and endoscopic skull base surgery at the University of Miami, Florida with one of the founding fathers of skull base surgery, Dr. Roy Casiano. She is a Fellow of the American Rhinologic Society and a Diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Anstead completed her Residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Illinois, Chicago where she was awarded the Resident Research Award. She completed her Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Miami, Florida, graduating with honors and nominated to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. Prior to medical school, Dr. Anstead completed two concurrent Bachelor of Science degrees in Microbiology and Psychology. She is a Certified Practitioner by the Institute for Functional Medicine and completed a second fellowship with Dr. Andrew Weil at the Center for Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona. Dr. Anstead has been voted Best Doctor in Seattle by her peers in the Seattle Metropolitan Magazine many times. She has frequently been an invited speaker on the topics of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery across the Americas and Europe and directed cadaveric dissection courses on Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery for her peers. She has served as a reviewer for several academic journals and has published in the areas of Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery in both peer reviewed journals and book chapters including Dr. Casiano's bestselling Endoscopic Sinonasal Dissection Guide. Dr. Anstead is married and has two beautiful children.

Daniel J. Lee

Dr. Daniel "Juno" Lee graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and then attended Florida State University's College of Medicine for medical school. He was selected for memberships in the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society for his academic performance and leadership in medicine. He then completed an Otolaryngology- Head and Neck (ENT) residency at Emory University where he served as Administrative Chief Resident and was awarded the Resident Teacher of the Year. He completed 2 residency education tracks in Medical Ethics and Medical Simulation. Dr. Lee pursued a fellowship in Advanced Otology and Lateral Skull Base with Dr. Backous in Seattle to specialize in treatment of diseases of the ear and hearing. Dr. Lee is devoted to having patients learn and understand their diagnosis and treatment options so they may participate in informed shared decision making.

Dr. Anne Lowery

Dr. Anne Lowery is a distinguished otolaryngologist with extensive training in complex ENT conditions. She will be joining the PSENT team in August 2025. Dr. Lowery earned her medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and named the David L. Zealear Scholar for research in airway pathologies. She completed a rigorous residency at the University of Pennsylvania and the renowned Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, mastering advanced surgical techniques for both adult and pediatric patients. As a first-year medical student, Dr. Lowery was introduced to otolaryngology when she scrubbed in on a case that fixed the hearing bones in the ear. The finesse and complexity of the surgery drew her to the field. Dr. Lowery specializes in obstructive sleep apnea, sinus disease, voice and airway disorders and head and neck cancers. She is an expert in Inspire hypoglossal nerve implantation, thyroid and parotid surgery, and complex voice and sinus procedures. Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, traveling, volleyball and spending time with her husband and golden retriever.

Dr. Jessica Mendiola

Dr. Jessica Mendiola is a licensed audiologist with experience diagnosing and treating hearing loss in patients of all ages and abilities. She is trained in fitting various amplification devices, including hearing aids, cochlear implants, and bone anchored implants. Dr. Mendiola has a special interest in serving pediatrics and individuals with complex needs. She is a recent graduate of Western Washington University where she received the Outstanding Graduate Award for the Doctor of Audiology Program. Dr. Mendiola is a United States Navy Veteran and enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her husband, 3 children, and 2 dogs.

Dr. Leah Alvis

Dr. Leah Alvis is a licensed audiologist with an interest in treating hearing loss. She is also experienced in hearing aid fitting and service. Leah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in deaf education from Ball State University in 1997 and her Clinical Doctorate from Salus University in 2008. Leah also received her Master's degree in Audiology from Indiana University Bloomington in 1999. Dr. Alvis has two children and has lived in Shoreline, Washington for 16 years. She enjoys reading and crafting in her free time outside the office.

Lisa Mulligan, MD, is a board-certified and highly skilled ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) surgeon. With a deep passion for providing exceptional care to patients with conditions related to the head and neck, she has established herself as a leading specialist in her field. She has pursued advanced training in specialized areas of ENT, further honing her expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the ears, nose, throat, sinuses, and related structures in both adult and pediatric patients. Her special interest in pediatrics stems from her appreciation of how children's health impacts the quality of life of the entire family. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Mulligan has gained extensive expertise in managing a wide range of conditions, including chronic sinusitis, tonsillitis, voice disorders, hearing loss, sleep apnea, nasal obstruction, and pediatric otolaryngological conditions. She utilizes the latest diagnostic techniques and cutting-edge surgical procedures to provide the most effective and comprehensive care for her patients, including endoscopic sinus surgery and endoscopic ear surgery. Dr. Mulligan is highly respected by her patients and peers alike for her exceptional surgical skills, clinical expertise, and compassionate care. In her free time, Dr. Mulligan enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, boating, and skiing with her family.

Michael J. Wolfe

Michael Wolfe, MD, FACS, is board-certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. This is the specialty dealing with the surgical and medical treatment of ailments of the ear, nose, and throat (ENT). Dr. Wolfe often describes it as "treating everything above the collar bones except eyes, brain, and spine." He has been practicing in the Seattle area since 2006. Most of these years, he has been a Top Doctor in Seattle Met and Seattle Magazine. His main areas of focus include "lumps and bumps" (neck nodes, thyroid, parathyroid, salivary gland, mouth, throat, neck masses, etc.), ultrasound of the head and neck area, cancer in the head and neck area, skin cancer treatment and reconstruction, and sinus disease. In addition to these, you can see him for any general otolaryngology needs. Dr. Wolfe grew up in Great Falls, MT, and moved to Tacoma, WA, in 1989. There, he finished his undergraduate education with a BS in Zoology from the University of Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1998. He then did his residency at the University of Utah In Salt Lake City, where he and his family lived for five years. This was followed by a fellowship (specialized training) in head and neck surgery, learning the management of tumors of the head and neck area, at the University of Cincinnati. He stayed on as faculty and was able to care for cancer patients and teach residents and medical students. Dr. Wolfe moved to the Seattle area in 2006 to be closer to family. He continues to teach medical students and primary care residents as a clinical instructor for the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Washington. In his free time, Dr. Wolfe enjoys spending time with his wife and adult son. His hobbies include photography, playing guitar, playing and watching soccer, wake surfing, travel, family events, and home improvement.
