Mr. Kincaid joined Q Capital in 2021 with over 20 years of information technology experience including all aspects of technical design and implementation of enterprise grade information systems.
Mr. Brown joined Q Capital in 2023. Throughout his career, Mr. Brown has held key roles in prominent organizations, where he has honed his expertise in the life settlement market. Mr. Brown is an accomplished professional with almost 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Mr. Brown joined Secondary Life Capital as a Pricing Analyst in 2007, valuing policies and portfolios for private equity funds and European banks. In 2009, Robert transitioned to Senior Account Manager, responsible for managing a sales team, policy valuations, broker and funder relations as well as direct consumer marketing. Most recently, Mr. Brown continued those duties with Life Policy Traders LLC. Before entering the life settlement industry, Mr. Brown was a life insurance agent for New York Life.

Mr. Shapiro is the founder of Q Capital. Previously, Mr. Shapiro was the President of MARK Partners LLC, a merchant banking boutique he founded in 2001. Mr. Shapiro has extensive experience in strategic consulting, investment banking advisory services, and private equity investing. Mr. Shapiro has held positions with several private equity and investment banking partnerships, including The Blackstone Group, LP and Centre Partners Management LLC. Mr. Shapiro holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. in finance and entrepreneurial management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Steven is also a current member of the Board of Directors of LISA, the Life Insurance Settlement Association, the oldest and largest trade organization in the life settlement industry, having previously served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board.
Mr. Blankenship joined Q Capital in 2006. Mr. Blankenship held several positions within Q Capital prior to be elevated to COO in 2022, previously leading the business development efforts and Central Processing and Underwriting Departments. Since moving into the COO role, Mr. Blankenship has taken the lead on all aspects of Q Capital's operations including growing its origination pipeline, expansion of customer relationships, overseeing IT projects, and streamlining Q Capital's business operations. Mr. Blankenship graduated with a B.A. from the University of Kansas.
