Terri Andrews is a systems consultant with a focus on the development, implementation, improvement and assessment of QHSE Management Systems within a diverse range of industries. Terri is the co-author of the book, Integrated Management Systems. . . Leading Strategies and Solutions. Terri has helped numerous organizations achieve registration or recognition of their management systems to various standards and requirements, including: ISO 9001:2000 and 2008 (Quality), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental), ISO 17025 (Laboratory Practices), CSA Z1000 and OHSAS 18001 (Health & Safety), ANSI/ASC Z1.13 (Quality for Basic and Applied Research); CWB, NVLAP, NQI Canadian Quality Criteria for Public Sector Excellence; and various medical and governmental regulatory approvals (FDA, GMP, etc.) For almost 20 years, Terri has guided dozens organizations through the design, management and improvement of operational and management policies, procedures and documentation across all organizational functions including: strategic and upper management, human resources, procurement, design, construction & fabrication, service delivery, production, QHSE system management and quality improvement (corrective action, incident management, lessons learned systems, auditing, etc.) Her work has spanned a wide range of private and public sectors including oil & gas, manufacturing, research & design, service, aviation, education, government, tourism, aquaculture and medical and laboratory facilities. Terri regularly develops and delivers a varied range of QHSE seminars and training sessions, including internal auditor courses, risk analysis and HSEQ tools. Terri is a Certified Safety Management Practitioner (CSMP) through the Institute for Safety and Health Management (ISHM). As a Certified Lead Auditor in both ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, she conducts registration audits on behalf of QMI and third party assessments for her clients. She is a Senior Member of ASQ and was one of the founders of ASQ in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Wayne Pardy

Wayne Pardy is a graduate of Memorial University of Newfoundland and is currently the HSEQ Manager with Quality Plus Inc. For the past 29 years he has assisted many organizations develop and enhance their HSEQ management systems as a consultant, trainer, author, speaker and auditor. Prior to joining Quality Plus Inc. Wayne was the Vice-President of Safety and Quality for Q5 Systems, helping bring that company from a high-tech start up in 1999 to a multi-million dollar high tech safety and quality software and HSEQ service company with a global client base. A certified ISO 9001 quality lead auditor, Wayne also holds an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council, is a Certified Safety Management Practitioner (CSMP) through the Institute for Safety and Health Management and holds a Canadian Registered Safety Professional designation (CRSP) from the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals. Through his work in the energy, oil and gas, construction, manufacturing and aviation sectors, he has conducted training, auditing and consulting for business, government and labour throughout Canada, the United States and Europe. During his tenure as Vice-President of Quality and Safety Management for Q5 Systems, he assisted many industry leading companies (US Steel, Liberty Mutual, IATA, Southwest Airlines, Dentsply, United Airlines) improve and implement strategic audit management systems, facilitated through the wide range of Q5 AIMS audit technology solutions, training, consulting and auditing. Whether in the field or in the board room, Wayne has helped numerous organizations in the design, development, implementation and effectiveness of their HSEQ management system strategies, policies, procedures, processes and practices. As a member of the CSA technical committee which developed the Canadian national safety standard for Occupational Health & Safety management systems, CSA Z1000-06, he had the opportunity to review and learn from a wide range of safety management system strategies, processes and systems which help lead to successful safety performance. These lessons learned are reflected in his practical, customer-centered safety management services. Wayne was also a member of the Canadian technical committee for CSA for ISO 45001 and has developed a range of tools to assist clients wishing to improve their OHS Management System through the practical application of ISO 45001. A past Director of the local ASQ Chapter, and a long-time ASQ member, Wayne is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Safety Association (NLCSA). Wayne is also currently the Chair of the Minister's Advisory Council on Occupational Health and Safety for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, providing strategic advice to the province on a number of key health and safety management initiatives of the Department of Service NL. He is also a member of the Client Services Committee of the Board of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission. An international award-winning safety professional, Wayne is author of the book, "Safety Incentives ... The Pros and Cons of Award and Recognition Programs" (Moran Associates) and co-author of quality book, "Integrated Management Systems. . . Leading Strategies and Solutions" (Government Institutes), as well as a contributing author of the book, "A Guide to Health and Safety Management: 20 Proven Programs" (published by Southam Business Communications Inc.).
