Radio News Service (RNS) is like no other service in Canada. As our name suggests, we specialize in news releases prepared specifically for radio newscasts... We send stations at least four versions of each story. A news release, written in radio style, provides the story in full, while shorter stories are written around our audio clips. The scripts are transmitted to newsrooms via email and fax as well as on The Canadian Press (formerly BN) wire service. Our clips are transmitted via satellite and the internet. And stations have the option of clicking a link on our emails that takes them directly to our download page for fast and easy access to the scripts and audio clips.
