GAUER OLSEN - Key Persons
Amelia is a Senior Accountant at Gauer Olsen. She completed a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting Major., at Camosun College and is currently working towards her CPA. Amelia is an avid learner who is enjoying the practical work experience and learning the ins and outs of public practice. When she is not working or studying Amelia enjoys camping, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.
Aruna is a true Vancouver Islander, having been raised in Victoria and living most of her life here. She has over 17 years experience as a Medical Office Assistant for ophthalmologists. In her prior position she kept a busy office running at full capacity, and now looks forward to devoting her efforts to Gauer Olsen and its valued clients. Aruna studied at Sprott Shaw College in the Medical Office Assistant (MOA) program. She has been an active member of the Quadra Village community for most of her life and is a mom to two grown children who have now flown the coop. In her free time, she greatly enjoys playing disc golf & baseball, reading a good book, and spending time with friends, family, and her cat, Penny.
Cheyenne is a Junior Manager at Gauer Olsen. She completed her Bacholer of Arts in Economics with Distinction at the University of Victoria and Post Degree Diploma in Business Administration at Camosun College. Cheyenne has completed a Master of Professional Accounting Program at the University of Saskatchewan.
Dee has been with the firm for nearly 20 years. She studied at Camosun College to complete programs in Business Administration. Having seen the accounting and bookkeeping professions progress over the last two decades, she is always current on the latest software. We wish Dee all the best in her retirement!
Don is a partner at Gauer Olsen with over 25 years of experience in public practice. He has extensive experience in a broad range of clients including professionals, construction, manufacturing, retail and not-for-profit. His area of practise includes business advisory services, corporate and personal tax planning, estate tax, corporate reorganizations, purchasing and selling a business, research and development tax filings (SR&ED), and an assortment of other matters.
James is a partner at Gauer Olsen who specializes in taxation needs for medical professionals. He works predominately with medical doctors, specialists and other incorporated professionals.
With over 35 years experience in public practice, Len has retired from practice. Prior to joining Gauer Olsen, Len ran his own accounting firm in Victoria, British Columbia for over 30 years. He has provided a variety of tax and financial services to a broad range of clients, including personal, corporate and estate tax returns, preparing financial statements and tax planning.
A passion for gardening and a lover of the outdoors. Bike riding, swimming, and camping year-round, Lila and her 6 -year-old daughter are always on the go.
Mandy is a senior accountant at Gauer Olsen. She started her accounting career in 2007 and graduated from Camosun College in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration majoring in Accounting. Mandy completed her GCA designation in 2011 and has gained much experience over the years working with a broad range of clients. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her two boys.
Reanna is a Senior Accountant at Gauer Olsen and currently enrolled in the CPA program. When she is not working she takes any opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

Trish is a Manager at Gauer Olsen specializing in the Medical Professional field. She studied at the University of British Columbia where she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and subsequent courses in Accounting. Trish uses her problem-solving skills to tackle all sorts of issues related to specific taxation and accounting issues. In her free time, she enjoys cross country skiing, volleyball, camping and spending time with neighborhood cats.

Vivian is a Senior Manager at Gauer Olsen. She graduated from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Commerce degree in accounting and finance. In 2018 she successfully passed the Common Final Exam and went on to receive her CPA designation in 2019. She has over four years of experience in public practice which brings with her working experience from a broad range of clients. In her spare time Vivian enjoy travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Zack graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from Royal Roads University in 2016. Having a passion for entrepreneurship and small businesses he has worked in the private sector for several years prior to joining public practice.
An avid traveler, he has traveled to over 25 countries. Picking up a passion for cooking, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with his growing family.
