Greg earned his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba in 2005. He spent several years working in the front offices of the Edmonton Oilers and Manitoba Moose hockey clubs prior to attending the University of Alberta Law School in 2010. In 2013, he articled with a prominent Alberta firm where he gained excellent practical experience in the areas of business law and real estate.
In 2016, Greg and his wife Jessie moved with their young children to Victoria to be closer to family, fishing and year-round golf. Since joining Reed Pope, Greg has thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the City of Victoria, its people and its strong business and development communities.
Jack Palmer is an Associate at Reed Pope Law Corporation, practicing in the firm's Business Law Group. Jack's practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial matters including:

Before returning to school to pursue a law degree, Jack played in the Western Hockey League for the Brandon Wheat Kings and the Victoria Royals. Nowadays, Jack enjoys spending his free time exploring Vancouver Island with his wife and daughter as well as golfing with friends.

John McLeod* is a Principal at Reed Pope Law Corporation, practicing in the areas of corporate and commercial law. John plays a lead role advising individual and corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, equity financings, debt financings, leasing and governance. John also assists with establishing and administering First Nations fisheries enterprises. John has over 25 years' experience drafting a wide range of commercial agreements and structuring and completing transactions.
John previously worked with two leading business law boutique firms in Vancouver and with Baker & McKenzie in London, England. John is a Director of Nuu-chah-nulth Seafood Development Corporation, NCN Cannery Corporation (majority owner of St. Jean's Cannery) and Victoria Symphony, and a former director of Our Place Society. John is also an eight-time rider with Team Finn, Ride to Conquer Cancer.
John is an Associate Counsel of Reed Pope Law Corporation and practices in the firm's Dispute Resolution and Business Law groups. John brings decades of experience in problem-solving and negotiation to his clients. He focuses on helping clients to identify potential disputes early and resolve them cost-effectively, including:
Advocating for clients in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, administrative proceedings and before all levels of B.C. trial and appeal courts

He has more than a decade of experience as a senior executive and advisor in the provincial governments of two provinces. John enjoys spending time with his family and running.
Jonathan is an Associate at Reed Pope Law Corporation, practicing in the firm's Business Law Group and Strata Law Group.
Jonathan joined Reed Pope as an articled student in 2022 and has continued with the firm as an associate following his call to the bar in the summer of 2023.
Jonathan is a graduate from Osgoode Hall Law School. During his time at law school, Jonathan worked for Community Legal Education Ontario and participated in Osgoode Hall Law School's Environmental Justice and Sustainability Clinic where he worked on ongoing litigation files under the supervision of expert litigators at a leading Aboriginal law firm in Toronto.
Before returning to school to pursue a career in law, Jonathan studied Theatre and English at the University of Toronto and worked in Toronto's theatre scene, appearing on stages across Toronto, southern Ontario and Halifax.
Upon completing law school, Jonathan moved to Victoria with his young family. He enjoys spending his free time camping with family, experimenting with recipes in the kitchen and exploring Vancouver Island.

Keith Reed*, a founding member of the firm, provides his services through R. Keith Reed Law Corporation a shareholder of the Firm.

Barney first qualified as a lawyer in his native New Zealand in 1979. He was admitted to the British Columbia Bar in 1982 and has practiced in Victoria ever since. Over the years his has been a varied civil practice but his main area of interest now lies in the field of estate planning and administration, with the associated preparation of Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Representation Agreements and Advance Directives. He also has extensive experience in real estate matters.
Barney has taught many classes in the Business Faculty at Camosun College and has been a frequent speaker at Public Legal Education Seminars and professional training courses conducted by the Law Society of British Columbia. He is a past member of the executive of the Victoria Bar Association and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
Recreationally, Barney enjoys the outdoors and is a keen fisherman and hunter. In days gone by, he enjoyed sailing and was an avid tennis player, and he completed a number of marathons and many triathlons. These days, however, his athletic endeavours are largely limited to hiking, jogging and golf.
