ROBERTSON TRAVEL - Key Persons

Heather Schuyler Gray

Job Titles:
  • Certified Travel Agent
  • Owner
Heather Schuyler is a native to the Santa Barbara area, born and raised in the beach-side town of Carpinteria. She attended the University of Southern California, graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with plans of becoming a physical therapist. Two backpacking trips, through Europe and Africa, and a few twists and turns of life later, the travel industry beckoned. In 2003, armed only with her backpacking experience and a passion for traveling the world, Heather joined the ranks of Robertson International Travel Consultants. Under the mentorship of Brian Robertson, she was taught the travel business from the ground up. In November of 2013, in recognition of her ten year anniversary with the agency, Heather was named Managing Partner and in August of 2017 took over ownership of Robertson Travel. In the sixteen years since starting her career in the travel industry, and just twenty-one years after her own international traveling began, Heather has touched 6 continents and over 35 countries. Her experience of travel styles ranges from backpacking and hostels to luxury cruises and 5-star hotels. Heather is drawn to destinations of stunning natural beauty (Alaska, Patagonia and the South Pacific) and culture (India, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia). Her love of active, adventure and eco-travel has taken her biking across New Zealand, heli-hiking in the Canadian Rockies, and sailing aboard expedition ships through Costa Rica, the Galapagos and the Peruvian Amazon. She has been on safari in both East and South Africa, and set out into Northern Canada on a Polar Bear Expedition. She has explored holiday markets along the Danube river, meandered through the English Countryside, yachted through the Greek Isles and most recently spent her honeymoon in Fiji. Heather's strengths lie in her absolute attention to detail, her passion for travel, and her desire to create memorable experiences for her clients. She, along with the Robertson Team, continue to work closely together to provide the very best in service and expertise in travel planning for their clients.
