Jake Beck

Jake Beck is a Certified Designated Representative for CA and FL. He is responsible for the overall compliance of Reliance's operations and is the Supervisor of all Certified Designated Representatives. While employed in a pharmaceutical managerial position with Express Scripts, Jake Beck obtained over 16 years of experience in record keeping, warehousing, logistics, quality, and supply chain management. He gained a deep understanding of the compliance regulations relating to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Pharmacy law, Verified Accredited Wholesale Distributors (VAWD), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), Current Good Manufacturer Practices (cGMP), European Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and the Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Jake's expertise in distribution Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) encompasses over seven years of training and involvement with both manufacturers and hospitals. He has a profound knowledge of cold chain logistics and creating validation protocols for packing specifications, walk-in coolers, and walk-in freezers. Jake was also trained as a Superuser on all functions of multiple Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software during his tenure at Express Scripts. As a result of his extensive knowledge of the software systems and processes, Jake's senior management team recognized the initiative taken and appointed Jake to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and trainer for the supply chain department. He is highly proficient in a wide variety of software programs including, but not limited to, MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Pro, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Evernote. He is also an expert in Six Sigma software MS Visio, SPC XL, and Minitab. Jake holds an Associate of Applied Science degree with a concentration in Logistics and Transportation Management, a Magna Cum Laude honor for Business and Commerce, and a Logistics and Transportation Management Technical certificate from Southwest Tennessee Community College.

Josh Navarro - CEO, President

Josh Navarro is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Reliance Wholesale. He co-founded this national wholesale pharmaceutical distributor of vaccines, plasma derivatives, biologicals, and supply-sensitive pharmaceuticals nearly 20 years ago. Josh began his business career in his family's jewelry business, working in the stock room, sales, and eventually handling the company's accounting needs. As a son of Cuban immigrants, Josh was instilled with a strong work ethic and grew up believing in the American Dream. With the encouragement of his family, he actively pursued his dream of owning his own business. After working as the Operations and Financial Manager at a pharmaceutical distribution firm, Josh decided it was time to apply his knowledge in finance, compliance, purchasing, negotiations, and general business to start his own venture. He co-founded a medical wholesale distribution company, Reliance Wholesale, in 2003. Reliance first opened its doors in South Florida, providing wholesale pharmaceuticals to local hospitals, doctors, and pharmacies. Today, the company has offices in Florida and Tennessee. Reliance continues to diversify its product offerings and expand the type of health care providers it serves under Josh's direction and leadership. His determination to see Reliance and its affiliates prosper is one of his most admirable qualities.

Loaina Matos Kerner

Loaina Matos Kerner is Reliance Wholesale's VP of Sales. She manages cross-functional teams to drive sales and provide our customers with an enhanced experience. Loaina brings over two decades of pharmaceutical sales knowledge to her role and has managed multi-billion dollar national sales teams in the specialty pharmaceutical distribution space. She's known for surpassing sales goals, developing long-lasting relationships with clients, and leading specialty teams through complex company acquisitions and market changes. Loaina's educational and professional background consists of a Business Marketing Degree from Florida International University, Situational Leadership® II (SLII®), Business Chemistry from Deloitte Greenhouse, and Richardson Sales Training. She is communicative and proactive. Loaina is an active member of the UVA Latino Health Initiative (LHI) and interpreter at Charlottesville Free Clinic. Combining her personal interest in mental health and well-being with her passion for building a strong work culture, Loaina assists sales organizations in creating a motivating atmosphere where all is in sync. She helps to lay the fundamental groundwork for all-around growth.
