Dr. Gijzen is one of our two in-house physicians providing cosmetic treatments to our clients following the latest guidelines and procedures from peer-reviewed research and global medical
standards. Her holistic and friendly approach integrates her client's needs, concerns and expectations with advanced technologies and practices to provide subtle and natural results that enhance her client's best features.
Dr. Gijzen obtained her medical degree from the University of Ottawa in 2006. She served in the Royal Canadian Navy as a medical officer until 2019. After completing a fellowship in undersea medicine, Dr. Gijzen worked alongside divers and submariners and led and trained colleagues from across Western Canada. As a family physician, she underwent further training in dermatology in 2020 and has been involved in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine since 2021 when she joined Renu. She did extensive training with Dr. Decker and other renowned leaders in this fascinating field.
When not working, Dr. Gijzen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, scuba diving and camping.

Our Clinical Director and resident country music maven, Kyla is Dr. Decker's daughter and right hand at Renu. She runs all aspects of the business with dedicated staff who feel like an extension of the family. The most rewarding part? Working with her dad and helping people feel their best about themselves everyday.

Roslyn found her passion in the skin care industry after years of management, government and full-time momming to three boys. If happiness is contagious, Roslyn always has a smile on her face, sharing in the joy of our patients' treatment results. After six years with Renu, she knows how to take care of our clients.
