When we met with the founder and owner of the factory, he said, "I am proud to say that we were the first resin item manufacturer in Chiang Mai". Once we were in the showroom, we were quite impressed by the large number of elaborate resin figurines and statues designed in multitudes of varieties. The factory owner told us about the origin of his business. He remarked that, "I had first tried to design and make some tiny resin items about 20 years ago. At that time I really felt worried about being copied, but I thought that if I remained preoccupied with that, then the business would never expand." Hence, he began to promote his resin figurines and statues by joining in many fairs.
