Richard C. Sciria received his Bachelors of Arts degree with honors from the University of Richmond, Virginia in Political Science and International Studies with a Minor in Spanish. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1999. Mr. Sciria was admitted in 1999 to the New Jersey Bar and the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the Monmouth County Bar Association and New Jersey State Bar Association. Currently, Mr. Sciria serves as the Freehold Township Public Defender. He is a member of the Municipal Court Committee of the Monmouth Bar Association and represents defendants in municipal court matters throughout the State of New Jersey including motor vehicle tickets, disorderly persons offenses, and ordinance violations. Mr. Sciria is also general counsel for the Keansburg Housing Authority, and represents many residential and commercial landlords in tenancy matters throughout the State of New Jersey. He also represents Buyers and Sellers in all types of real estate matters including basic purchases and sales, short sales, and foreclosures. Mr. Sciria additionally represents employees and employers in all types of employment matters, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, unemployment appeals and wage and hour claims. He further handles numerous civil litigation cases, including breach of contract, consumer fraud, estate litigation and personal injury.

Mr. Sciria has added Thomas F. X. Foley, J.M.C as Of Counsel to the Law Firm. Mr. Foley was a former municipal court judge in ten municipalities in Monmouth and Middlesex Counties. Mr. Foley was also the former Mayor of the Township of Colts Neck. Mr. Foley is a certified arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
