RIPTIDE REALTIME

Riptide Realtime is a sole proprietorship owned by Tom Schneider and located in Topanga, California. Tom has been providing consulting and prototype development services for digital systems since the 1980s. Since 1995 he has been developing supporting software and hardware for adaptive optics systems, starting with two separate AO systems used with the Mt. Wilson 100" Hooker telescope. Most of his adaptive optics work since then has been in producing real time laser beam reconstructor control systems for research by defense industry customers. Tom has a BSEE, with emphasis on computer science, from the University of New Mexico, is a U.S. citizen and has held U.S. Government security clearances... Riptide Realtime also consults, and designs and builds instrumentation, control systems and custom prototypes.
