A native of Alamance County, Bobby resides in Burlington with his wife Natalie and their two children, Carson and Jackson. Bobby graduated from Cummings High School in Burlington and from the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Bobby is a member of the Lakeview Community Church. When he is not working, you can find Bobby and his family at Western Alamance football games where both Carson and Jackson graduated or on the weekends at UNC-W watching his daughter dance.

Brandi Wellons Kellis

A native of Alamance County, Brandi is the daughter of Gene and Teresa Breashears Wellons. She graduated from Southern Alamance High School in 2003, and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta in 2009. Brandi and her husband Barry live in Graham with their two children Landon and Autumn. Her husband Barry works for ABB in Mebane.

Cameron Scott Rhodes

Cameron Rhodes is the son of Scott and Patricia Rhodes. He is a 2020 graduate of Walter M. Williams High School and has attended classes at Alamance Community College. Cameron is the brother of Delaney Rhodes. Cameron is an Eagle Scout and enjoys spending time with his family. Cameron looks forward to working with his father, Scott, at the funeral home.

Cathy Bland

Cathy started to work for Rich & Thompson in July 2018 as an Ambassador. She retired after working for 37 years with Wells Fargo. She attends Trinity Worship Center and volunteers with their food pantry. She graduated from Williams High School and received a degree in Business from ACC. She enjoys cooking, reading and spending time with her family.

Christopher D. Rhodes - CEO

A native of Alamance County, Chris is married to Susanne Fuqua Rhodes (EC teacher at Turrentine Middle School). They have two sons, William Ladd "Will" (attends Elon University) and Samuel James "Sam" (attends Williams High School). Chris is a graduate of Cummings High School in Burlington and the Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. Chris is a member of Front Street United Methodist Church in Burlington. Chris is extremely active in serving his community. Some of his previous endeavors include serving on the board of the Alamance Business Club, which assists children with special needs and serving as the Director of the Northern Alamance Athletic Club which provides financial support to various sports programs for the youth of Alamance County. He currently serves as the President of the Williams High School Athletics Booster Club.

Chuck Oakley

Chuck was born in Alamance County and graduated from Western High School. He has worked at Carolina Biological Supply for 30 years and part time for Rich & Thompson. He is married to Jennifer Oakley. He has three sons, Bradyn (graduate of Davidson College), Zack (will be attending Guilford College) and Ethan (attends Western Middle School). In his spare time he likes to hunt, fish and spend time with his family supporting his son's sporting events.

Dianne Andrews

Dianne is a lifelong resident of Alamance County and resides in the Pleasant Grove community with her husband, Johnny who is also with Rich & Thompson. Dianne works full time with the Alamance County Fire Marshal's Office and Emergency Management. She has been part time with the Rich and Thompson family since 2013. Dianne has one daughter, Brandy McCandless and husband Troy and adores her two grandsons, Aidan and Camden. Dianne also helps with the landscaping and flowers at our Graham location. During her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, walks with the German Shepherd, Kayla Ann, cooking and gardening.

James R. Guthrie

A resident of Graham, North Carolina, Jim is married to Amy Wood Guthrie. They have a daughter, Jamie Guthrie Park, and two grandchildren, Braden and Jaecyn. He is a graduate of Graham High School, the Technical Institute of Alamance and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Jim is a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church, the Optimist Club of Graham, the Graham Lions Club, where he is a Marvin Jones Fellow for Lions International and a former member of the Graham Jaycees, where he received the Distinguished Service Award and the Man of the Year Award. Jim has also received the Distinguished Service Award presented by the Graham Merchants Association and the Outstanding Citizens Award presented by the City of Graham.

Johnny Andrews

Johnny is a native of Graham and resides in the Pleasant Grove Community with his wife, Dianne, who is also employed with Rich and Thompson. Johnny retired from Alamance County with 30 years of service as a paramedic, EMS supervisor and telecommunicator and continues to work part time with Alamance County EMS. He is a former member of the Alamance County Rescue Unit and the Swepsonville Fire Department. Johnny has worked with Rich & Thompson since 1993. Our Graham location has received several beautification awards for the landscaping with the help of Johnny and Dianne. During his spare time, he enjoys time with their German Shepherd, Kayla Ann, landscaping, gardening, grilling and quality time with family.

Pat Dunnagan

Pat is a native of Alamance County and was married to the late Tommy Dunnagan. They were married for 48 wonderful years until his death in 2012. Tommy and Pat had two sons, William, who died at the very early age of eight and Christopher. Christopher is an defense attorney in Boone, North Carolina and his wife, Kim is a teacher there. Pat has two grandchildren, Arabella and Annalisa. She is retired with 30 years service from General Dynamics and has been with Rich and Thompson part time since 2004. Pat attends The Lambs Chapel where she is a greeter. She also is an active volunteer at the John Robert Kernodle Senior Center. In her spare time, Pat enjoys traveling with her friends and spending time with her family, son and especially her grandchildren.

Patricia Rhodes

Patricia is the wife of Scott Rhodes, Managing Partner for Rich and Thompson for Rich and Thompson Funeral Service. Patricia is a CPA and a Partner with Stout, Stuart, McGowen and King, LLP. Patricia is a graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh. Patricia and Scott have two children, Delaney Brannock Rhodes, a 2020 graduate from Meredith College and Cameron Scott Rhodes, a 2020 graduate from Williams High School. She is a lifetime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Burlington. Patricia has served as volunteer treasurer for multiple organizations, including St. Paul's UMC, the Methodist Women and the Williams High School Choral Boosters. .

Rita Hall Ingram

Rita was born on October 21, 1955 and grew up in Burlington, NC. She is a 1974 graduate of Western Alamance High School. In 1978, she graduated from Appalachian State University receiving a Management (BSBA) Degree specializing in Healthcare Management. Rita joined Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in March of 1985 as Funeral Home Office Coordinator to help serve and bring comfort to families at the loss of a loved one. She is a member and pianist of St. Luke's United Methodist Church where she assists with the children's programs and various committees. She loves spending time with her family and friends and her interests include music and sports. Rita has been married to Joey L. Ingram since November 10, 1979. They have been blessed with two children, Jarred Ingram and wife Christina, Jessica and husband A.J. Lamm; three grandchildren, Joseph Lee Cates, Alena Ann and Burch Aaron Ingram; and five step-grandchildren, Devin Cates, Griffin Gregory, Macy, McKenzie and Michael Lamm. She is the daughter of Lois Massey Hall and the late Joe Burch "J.B." Hall.

Ross Carter

Ross and his wife, Sarah, live in Gibsonville. He is a retired ordained minister in The United Methodist Church. During his 27 years in ministry, he served five churches including three Methodist congregations in Alamance County: Center, Faith, and Front Street. Ross volunteers with Alamance Regional Medical Center, and in his free time enjoys gardening, photography, and traveling.

Roy Z. Glasgow

A native of Alamance County, Roy and his wife, Mary Peterson Glasgow, reside in the Village of Alamance. They have two daughters, Emily and husband Adam, and Deana and husband Dylan, grandson Conor, and granddaughter Ellie. He is a graduate of Southern Alamance High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, where he was the Valedictorian and attended Elon College. He is a lifetime member of St. Mark's Church and served as Deacon. He was Past President, Secretary and Athletic Treasurer for the Alamance Civitan Club and was awarded the Civitan of the Year for three years. He received the Club Honor Key in 1996. Roy serves on the Planning Board for the Village of Alamance. He is a member and former Secretary for the Alamance County Wildlife Club and enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, his grandchildren and his granddogs.

S. Lloyd Carter

A native of Reidsville, North Carolina, Lloyd and his wife, Ethel Ann Carter, currently reside in Burlington. They have 2 sons, Wesley and Bryant. Lloyd graduated from the Reidsville City School System and from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He is a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Lloyd has actively served his community through various offices at his church. He is a member of the Alamance Rotary Club, having served in all offices, including President and Board member. He is a member of Burlington Masonic Lodge 721 AF&AM;, the Burlington Shrine Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary.

Scott Rhodes

Scott was Managing Partner of Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Services in Burlington and Graham. Throughout his career, he served many families in the important task of honoring and remembering their loved ones. He also served as a former member with the National Disaster Medical Systems' DMORT Family Assistance Team and DMORT's Region 4 team. He first served with DMORT during the aftermath of Hurricane Floyd in North Carolina and had multiple deployments to Mississippi and Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina. Scott also assisted in the Joplin, Missouri tornado catastrophe and with the crash of Comair Flight 5181 in Lexington, Kentucky.

Tim Ryan

Tim was raised in upstate New York along with 3 siblings ( 1 older brother and 2 younger sisters). Tim graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School. He went on to graduate from St. Anselm College with a B.A. degree in business. After college he served 6 years in the Air Force Reserves while working in the family business. He went on to own his own Chevrolet dealership. From there he moved to Florida from 1985 - 2001. He now lives in McLeansville, NC with his wife of 35 years. In May 2016, he joined Rich & Thompson Funeral Service as an ambassador.

Wayne Bowery

After retiring from Alamance Community College, R. Wayne Bowery joined the Rich and Thompson staff in April of 2008. Before his employment with Rich and Thompson, Wayne worked in sales, but most of his career was in higher education. He worked for over thirty years as an admissions officer with Elon College ( now Elon University) and Alamance Community College. He also served in the U.S.Army Reserves as an E7 drill sergeant. Wayne and his wife Debbie, have one son. Their son and daughter-n-law have recently blessed them with their first grandson.
