David Gibellini

David has a Bachelor of Property (valuations) Degree and worked as a Valuer for 18 months before joining agency Killen Thomas, where he was a senior sales and leasing negotiator for some 8 years. He joined Ryder Commercial some time ago with Paul Sberna as a joint General Manager Sales. David brings substantial market knowledge and an extremely successful sales and leasing track record to our team along with a hard working ethic and client service methodology.

George Harris

George Harris has 31 years practical experience in the property industry. He is a property professional with practical "hands on" experience in all facets of property management including Industrial, Commercial, Retail and Residential properties. His specific responsibilities cover the financial and physical management of properties subsequent to completion of construction or letting and include rent collections and recovery of outgoings, liaison with landlords and tenants, negotiation of rent reviews and maintenance programs. George also brings many years experience having been responsible for the management of a private client property portfolio of in excess of $350 Million on behalf of his then principle for a period spanning some 7 years. More recently George has specialised in the management of large multi-storey and multi-tenanted office buildings, industrial estates and supermarket and speciality retail centres.

Jackie Akers

Jackie has been with the Ryder Commercial team since October 2019. Having worked with both Mark and George previously within the commercial real estate, property development and construction industries. She brings knowledge, dedication and trust into her position. Her enthusiasm for property along with her personable nature makes her an attentive person to deal with for all of your property management requirements, in her position as a property and administration assistant.

Mark Ryder - Managing Director

Mark has over 33 years professional hands on experience in all property disciplines. Originally educated at Melbourne High School, he holds a Graduate Diploma - Property (RMIT)-High Distinctions, Certificate of Business Studies (Real Estate) and is a fully Licensed Estate Agent. It is worthwhile noting the Grad Dip RMIT is recognised as one of the most sought after real estate qualifications in the industry, signifying a true real estate professional. Mark was also awarded the ‘Australian Property Council Award 2001' for the best graduating student at RMIT. Mark's experience covers over three years with Geo M. Hume in Property Management and Commercial Leasing, 3½ years with Jones Lang Wootton in the marketing of major office projects in the C.B.D., and St Kilda Road, six years experience with local developer, D. Pomeroy Industries as Development Director and over five years as a shareholder and director of Killen Thomas (Aust) Pty Ltd. His experience covers all facets of property development, substantial acquisitions and disposals both interstate and in Melbourne and across substantial and multiple asset classes. He has extensive experience in project marketing, and has hands on experience in Property Management as a Principle along with substantial knowledge on building consultant disciplines, discounted cash flow analysis and property funding considerations.

Paul Sberna

Paul also joined our company team after a 9 year period with Killen Thomas where he was also a senior sales and leasing negotiator. Paul has been involved in sales, leasing, and management for a period spanning over 17 years and he has an in-depth knowledge of the city fringe, north and eastern real estate markets. He has over his career concluded many hundreds of transactions, including substantial sales, leasing, pre-lease and pre-sales throughout Melbourne.

Zack Ong

Zack is responsible for the administration and property management activities of this company. His duties include contractor and tenant liaison, fault reporting and rectification and a general co-ordination of property management and administration activities via a state of the art computer management system. Zack also performs Information Technology, Administration, Financial Control and Accounting duties in respect to managed properties within the practice. Zack has exceptional knowledge of industry practice and codes of operation as well as being extremely proficient in our computer property management system. He is a licensed Sub-Agent's Representative and holds a Masters in Property at RMIT.
