The hospital was originally built by Dr. John Gillespie in 1952 as Gillespie Animal Hospital. Dr. Lawrence Fox and Dr. Wayne Juhnke renamed the building "River Forest Animal Hospital" and built a beautiful new facility just one block east of the original location in 1999...
