Amy Short

Job Titles:

Amy is a graduate from the Queensland University of Technology Class of 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Amy's key values in being a great Exercise Physiologist stem from her love to help people grow and learn over a period of kicking health and wellness goals. A key aspect in her approach is implementing education about exercise and chronic disease to ensure her patients have a great overall understanding of their health and how their goals are shaping them to be the best version of themselves. Amy comes from Mackay originally and found her love for sport and exercise from a young age, but especially after climbing Mt Kilimanjaro with her dad when she was in Grade 11. This inspired an eagerness in Amy to help people use exercise as a great tool to generally improve quality of life and functionality. Seven years and a degree in Exercise Physiology later, Amy loves exercise and wellness more every day and always has something to work towards. Amy has also an extensive sporting history, with competitive experience in Volleyball, Basketball, Netball and Golf.
