Anne Marie grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota but is happy to now call Colorado home. Anne Marie has a passion for storytelling and working for nonprofits. She has spent her career working in various fields, including travel and tourism, live theatre, and, most recently, lung cancer research. She has enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the nonprofit world through her previous roles. Anne Marie holds a bachelor's in mass communication and journalism and a master's in marketing. She currently loves running the foundation's, email campaigns, managing the website, and everything in between. Anne Marie can usually be found walking her three dogs (Honey, Gryffindor, and Nora), out on a hiking trail with her husband, or playing Animal Crossing.

For the past 10 years, Astral has been a Certified Nursing Assistant. They have worked in a variety of settings, including assisted living, skilled nursing, home health, and hospice. Astral hopes to be a microbiologist and is currently studying for an associate in science. They chose RMCHF because they wanted to work in a lab, while helping their community at the same time. They believe this has been a great opportunity to start working as a lab technician. Outside of work, Astral loves riding their bicycle, especially with other people!

A native of Colorado, Cathy Sandoval has spent her 20-year career in service to her community. She ha s held leadership roles in both the business and nonprofit sectors, most recently at Community Home Health & Hospice in Vancouver, Washington. She previously served as the Executive Director for Meals on Wheels in Fort Collins and the Right to Read Adult & Family Education Center in Greeley, in addition to positions with Banner Health and Samaritan Health Services. When not at work, Cathy likes to spend time with her children, travel to the Oregon coast, and go on walks with her sweet pup Gizmo.

Garrett has a passion for storytelling and writing which he discovered while pursuing his undergraduate degree in public relations from Metropolitan State University of Denver. He has had the opportunity to work in the communications field for other nonprofit organizations and most recently worked in higher education doing media relations. Garrett came to Rocky Mountain Children's Health Foundation after wanting to work for an organization that values helping people by providing education and resources to those in need. He loves being able to establish growing relationships with the public through our social media channels to bring awareness of the impactful work RMCHF is doing to help children and families. In his free time, you can find him outside on the golf course, hitting the bike trails, or paddleboarding at one of the nearby reservoirs.

Jodye has called the Rocky Mountains home her whole life, from Evergreen to Boulder to Denver. With degrees in film and anthropology and an MBA in marketing and data analytics, she loves combining left- and right-brain thinking to design everything from communications plans to collateral to people systems. Her current role with the Foundation allows her to bring the worlds of marketing and human resources together to align both internal and external communications with our values as an organization. When not at work, Jodye can be found hiking, knitting, exploring new coffee shops, or tending to her (over) abundance of house plants.

Ki tc ia Lechuga is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is always looking for ways to expand her knowledge and skills so she can better serve moms in the community. She is especially interested in supporting those who are underserved, uninsured, and have a language barrier, specifically those who speak Spanish. While her degree is in nutrition, when she became a mom, she realized what she really love s to do was to spend time with moms and their babies. From the beginning, Kitcia loved the energy here at RMCHF and knew this was a place focused on teamwork. Kitci a loves to experiment in the kitchen and can never recreate the same dish. Her education in nutrition has inspired her to learn more about gardening, canning, and other ways to preserve food.

Mollie Kehmeier has spent most of her career in childbirth education in a hospital setting. She has taught childbirth preparation courses, prenatal yoga, mom/baby yoga, and labor skills courses. She recently completed her Certified Lactation Consultant (CLC) course work to build on her knowledge of the prenatal and postpartum time period. Mollie loves working at RMCHF and Mothers' Milk Bank because she gets to speak with women daily who are generously donating their breastmilk, not only to help babies in need but also to provide the physical support to new moms!

Patti Kinnear's motto is to "always leave people better than you found them." And she has spent her career doing just that through her work in the non-profit world in organizations that support Colorado's people and communities. Patti wanted to be a part of the RMCHF team because of the many ways we contribute to leaving families in a better position. As the director of development, Patti uses her talents and experience to help kids and their families by supporting the development team's efforts and bringing a wealth of knowledge to the event planning process for Kaleidoscope, Healthy Baby Summit, and other RMCHF fundraising and event opportunities. Fun fact: Patti is a fourth-generation Coloradan, and her family still owns their original homestead, which is listed on the Colorado Centennial Farm registry. Patti is also an avid cyclist who chased the train from Durango to Silverton.

Rachel Goodman describes her role at RMCHF as her "dream job." Rachel holds a bachelor's in marketing and a master's in nutritional science and is a registered dietitian and has a background as a clinical dietitian at Harbor UCLA Medical Center and in private practice. Rachel is deeply passionate about breastfeeding, the amazing properties of human milk, and the countless health benefits. Rachel is an advocate for science & human milk as babies' ideal first food. Rachel also loves salsa dancing, has been skydiving, is half Colombian and is bilingual, and had two natural births (including one magnificent water birth!) She and her family have been loving life in Colorado since 2016!

Rothie Uch is the Customer Care and Logistics Coordinator for Mothers' Milk Bank. Rothie was born in Denver but was California-raised. Rothie has a wealth of experience. He was a bulk mail delivery driver and is a licensed Realtor in Colorado. Rothie finds working at RMCHF to be very rewarding. He believes we are a resource to families and patients across the country and wakes up feeling like he is making a difference. Rothie's family is from Cambodia, and he feels very blessed to have been born in the United States. Before he moved back to Colorado, he was a cook in his family's restaurant is a foodie!

Samuel Frazier is the shipping and receiving clerk for Mothers' Milk Bank. With experience in retail management, specifically in customer service, printing, and freight/logistics, Sam brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. Working for Mothers' Milk Bank is meaningful to Sam because he was born premature. He feels this work is giving back to babies in the same situation he was. Sam plans to return to school to study agriculture and dreams of having a little farm someday!
Sara Blackwelder, our Director of Finance believes in the RMCHF Mission and brings a wealth of knowledge to our finance department. Sara has over 19 years of experience in finance and has spent 11 years with a focus on non-profits. A few fun facts about Sara: She worked at Disney in Florida, she enjoys crafts especially fiber arts, and loves spending time with her family.

Sha Ronda Wilson has been a staple on the Mothers' Milk Bank team for many years. She started out volunteering with us while she was in school for her associates degree. When there was an opening, she was encouraged to apply and has been here ever since. With a Bachelor of Art and Associates in Medical Specialties, she has a background in service-oriented jobs and enjoys fulfilling RMCHF's mission, serving the community, and helping patients, one bottle at a time.
