RML Shredding is a division of Rocky Mountain Logistics (RML), which was started right here in Louisville. President Jon Boatright is originally from Colorado but has become a permanent resident of Kentucky since he moved here 15 years ago. Co-owner/CFO Gary Remmers, a lifelong resident of Louisville, teamed up with Jon in 2001 and they started a small shredding operation under a different name that serviced a local hospital's shredding needs. Since 2001, Jon has been part owner in a local medical transportation company that worked in conjunction with the shredding operation for pickups and deliveries.
