Dr. Misra joined ShoulderMD over 2 years ago and has greatly enhanced the patient experience providing best practice techniques and consultations while maintaining the patient at the center of care. Dr. Misra has a unique passion for Sports Medicine that has enabled him to train internationally with renowned Internist Dr. James R. Andrews. He was selected as only a few Physicians to have been trained by a founding father of modern Sports Medicine.
Bernadette has been in healthcare for over 25+ years. The last 5 years were spent in surgical pre and post patient case management. After managing a medical surgical office for 7 physicians, and assisting the surgical center as a backup manager, Bernadette learned she wanted to be directly involved with supporting patients and being their advocate during their surgery experience. Bernadette comes with extensive skills specializing in quality control, process improvement and patient experience. Bernadette believes every patient should be cared for and looked after as if they were family.

Dr. Paul B. Roache M.D. specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery for rotator cuff injury. He is a leader in advancing tendon regeneration using the revolutionary Regeneten bioinductive implant to repair complicated cases of rotator cuff tears. His current research focusses on cutting edge surgical techniques, and is a leading expert in superior capsule repair to improve and enhance post surgical outcomes.
Dr. Paul Roache is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons (ABOS), and is a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). He is an active member of the Arthroscopic Association of North America (AANA),The European Shoulder Association (ESA/ ESSKA), and the International Society of Arthroscopy, and Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS). Paul B. Roache MD completed a Fellowship in Shoulder and Upper extremity Surgery in San Francisco and a subspecialty AO Fellowship in Rotator Cuff Surgery in Zurich, Switzerland. In addition, he is Associate Faculty in Shoulder Arthroscopy at the Orthopedic Learning Center of AAOS/AANA in Rosemont, Illinois.
Dr. Roache is a specialist in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder. His practice is focused on rotator cuff Injuries, shoulder dislocations, frozen shoulder, and sports medicine injuries of the shoulder. More specifically, he is focused on joint preservation, functional restoration and tissue regeneration.
As Surgical Coordinator, Maria is the friendly face of ShoulderMD. She has over 20 years working in multiple capacities of healthcare and understands the challenges patients face when navigating the pathway to better health. Being bi-lingual and living in the Sonoma area for over 15 years, Maria uses her skills to lead patients through the practice while understanding the local area and culture. As a Patient Care Coordinator for ShoulderMD, Javier is excited to be a voice for patients looking for straight answers and guidance during their pathway to healing. Being bilingual, Javier is an excellent communicator and is able to help build the gaps of patient care for patients needing additional assistance and education. In his future, Javier plans to cater more to post-operative patients starting a networked telehealth and residential system for recovery treatments like wound care, physical therapy, and education.
Javier has been a medical assistant since 2008. Starting his experience in urgent care and continuing to wound care and occupational services, Javier has vast familiarity with a multitude of specialties. This experience lends itself to providing patients with knowledgeable solutions after injuries and guiding them through long-term and specialty care needs.

Sophie is an accomplished technology manager and organizational project management consultant. She collaborates with the team to help streamline workflows and communication, automate work processes and deliver business metrics. Sophie holds a deep technical knowledge in the business process management space which is evident in her ability to create tools that enhance efficiency and produce effective outcomes. She has repeatedly led the roadmap for various technological initiatives and is a key player in the development of a proprietary reporting system used throughout ShoulderMD.

Yvonne is an entrepreneur having owned and run her own company specializing in practice management and front business office affairs for over 5 years. Yvonne's experience expands 9 years into billing and coding as well as human resources and project management. Yvonne creates and embraces the patient and client relationships built by ShoulderMD using our virtual platform and assures all needed front office business aspects are in check to run an efficient organization.
Yvonne earned her Master in Health Administration from Walden University and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New Jersey City University. She earned her green belt in Lean Six Sigma in 2019 and is fluent in Spanish as well American Sign Language.
