Buddy was a second generation law enforcement officer with the St. Petersburg Police Department, having retired as Assistant Chief of Police after more than 26 years of loyal service.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology from the University of South Florida and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy's 180th Session.
