Aleksandar Stefanov

obtained his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2022, followed by a Master's degree from the same institution in 2024. He is currently a robotics researcher and first-year PhD student specializing in mobile robotics for dynamic and unstructured environments. His research focuses on the development of advanced, context-aware localization and navigation algorithms, enabling mobile robots and autonomous vehicles to operate autonomously in complex and dynamic settings such as agriculture, forestry, urban environments, and exploration. He is particularly driven by the challenge of deploying these systems in unpredictable real-world environments, where robustness and precision are critical. In addition to his PhD research work, he is also involved in research on mobile manipulation for next-generation smart factories, contributing to the DIGITOP project.

Aleksander Rajhard

He was born in 1995 in Kranj, Slovenia. He attended the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, where he obtained an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering. For his thesis, he was researching how the brain compensates the effect of macro- and micro-gravity in human arm motion planning. He works as a researcher at the Laboratory of Robotics, at the same faculty. His research area is human-robot interaction, particularly rehabilitation robotics.

D. at the Laboratory of Robotics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. Her research area is human‑robot interaction, particularly rehabilitation robotics.

Kristina Nikolovska

In the past, he was also researching at the University of Glasgow, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Great Britain, and at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine and Oral Health Sciences, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Canada. His research interests are focused to the biomedical engineering and robotics. He is specialized in the development of intelligent robotic devices with the applications in sport, industrial and rehabilitation robotics, and transport. For his research work he was awarded by the Government Office for the Disabled and Chronically Sick of the Republic of Slovenia, and Slovenian Ministry of Science and Technology and ISKRA Holding with the Bedjanič award. Professor Kamnik is a member of IEEE, IFESS and a chair of Robotics Section within Slovenian Society for Automatic Control.
