Jennifer Shankle

Jennifer Shankle is the Client Support Specialist for Strategic Banking Partners (SBP). Her role includes responsibility for coordinating the receipt and tracking of requests submitted to SBP. Jennifer coordinates the receipt of information and assignments to the appropriate SBP departments, in addition to assisting the Portfolio Management, Packaging and Servicing departments in completing their assignments. Jennifer joined Strategic Banking Partners in January 2018. She has over 10 years experience focused in customer service and project leadership. Jennifer's career has been focused on sales and client relationships, with a passion for providing superior customer service. Since joining SBP, Jennifer has been instrumental in coordinating the receipt of customer requests ensuring quick responses to SBP customers and assignment to the appropriate departments. She has worked extensively with SBP's internal departments to understand their needs and to assist in mapping processes that have improved information flow. Jennifer has attended several NAGGL sponsored classes related to the SBA loan process, including loan origination and packaging. She is instrumental in ensuring clear and concise communication from SBP customers to internal departments. Jennifer graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelor of Science degree.

Jessica Hart - SVP

Jessica Hart is the Senior Vice President for Strategic Banking Partners. Her current role includes responsibility for SBA Loan Packaging, Closing, Colson 1502 Reporting, and Loan Servicing for our Bank and Credit Union Clients. Jessica joined Strategic Banking Partners in March 2011 as the Portfolio Manager. She joined Strategic Banking Partners with an extensive background in the residential real estate industry. She was responsible managing the process to submit real estate mortgage applications under various loan programs which included FHA/VA, Conventional, Purchase, Refinance, Jumbo and Reverse. Her experience with the various programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, provided her an advantage and strong financial understanding when she joined Strategic Banking Partners. With Strategic Banking Partners, Jessica is able to channel her passion to support small businesses and enabling prospective and current clients to expand and grow in her daily activities. In addition to her mortgage background, Jessica has retail banking experience and has worked in several small businesses since starting her professional career. This experience gives her insight to understand the small businesses she is assisting and to fulfill the requirements associated with SBA loan requests. Jessica serves on several industry boards specific to the SBA Lending community. She is currently the President of the Maryland Commercial Lenders Association as well as an Executive Board member of America East Incorporated which sponsors the annual America East Conference. Involvement in the various organizations helps to educate lenders about the benefits of SBA lending to their financial institutions and to the communities within which they reside. Jessica Hart joined Strategic Banking Partners in March 2011 as the Portfolio Manager. Jessica is responsible for SBA Loan Packaging and Loan Servicing (including 1502 reporting) for our Lending Partners. Jessica is also currently acting as the Office Manager which includes maintaining our IT partnership, software vendors and contracted employees.

Margie Englert

Margie Englert is the lead Underwriter for Strategic Banking Partners (SBP). In this position, she is responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of the underwriting with standard financial and accepted credit practices. Margie has been instrumental in defining the Underwriting processes and procedures for SBP. Prior to joining Strategic Banking Partners in July 2010, Margie was a Relationship Manager with Provident Bank's Business Banking Division for Maryland. Her previous experience includes over 30 years of Commercial Banking experience with Equitable and Maryland National banks. With this extensive background she's been able to solidify long lasting and quality relationships throughout the commercial medium and small business lending communities. Experience covers 17 years with Provident/M&T Bank in a variety of positions including 13 years in Business Banking and Middle Market Sales and 4 years as Underwriting Manager and Trainer for the Business Banking Group. Prior to this time, Margie spent 7 years with Equitable/Maryland National Bank as a Credit/Senior Credit Analyst, and Relationship Sales Manager in Financial Institution and Business Banking Groups. Margie has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Frostburg State University. She completed formal credit training (Commercial Loans to Business and Understanding Business Cash Flow) with Equitable Bank, and is a Certified Trainer for Expanding Small Business Relationships (ESBR), an Omega course.

Mary E. Wamsley - CEO, COO, President

Mary E. Wamsley is President/CEO and sole owner of Strategic Banking Partners (SBP). In this position, she is responsible for the operation of Strategic Banking Partners, maintaining strong customer relationships, as well as the Commercial and Small Business Loan Credit analysis and Loan Memo origination, Guaranty Recovery assistance, and SBA File Audit offerings for our Bank and Credit Union Clients. Prior to founding Strategic Banking Partners in July 2009, Mary served as Senior Vice President of Provident Bank's Business Banking Division for Maryland. Her previous experience includes over 30 years of Commercial Banking experience with Provident Bank and Bank of America. With this extensive background she's been able to solidify long lasting and quality relationships throughout the commercial lending and small business lending communities. Mary's passion for small businesses and entrepreneurship was her motivation in creating Strategic Banking Partners. SBP assists banks and credit unions that may lack the staff or SBA expertise to lend to entrepreneurs in their communities utilizing the SBA Loan Programs. Just as she was able to start her own business, she enjoys assisting other entrepreneurs to start their own businesses or continue to grow the ones they already have. Mary attended Bank of America's Commercial Loan training program. She served as Chairperson of the Washington District SBA Quality Circle for 2 years and served as Treasurer for the Baltimore SBA Quality Circle. She was awarded the Financial Services Small Business Advocate of the Year in 2007 and the Financial Services Advocate in 2012. Mary has also been interviewed by multiple local publications including, The Baltimore Sun and Smart CEO. Mary Wamsley | President/CEO mary.wamsley@sbp-online.com Mary E. Wamsley is President of Strategic Banking Partners. In this position, she has responsibility for the operation of Strategic Banking Partners customer relationships, Commercial and Small Business Loan Underwriting and Servicing. Don Wamsley is the Director of Operations for Strategic Banking Partners (SBP). In this position he is responsible for coordinating security, regulatory compliance, invoicing, and vendor management. Don is also responsible for the coordinating the development of processes and procedures for the internal and external information flow essential for effective communication between SBP and our clients. Prior to joining Strategic Banking Partners in January 2016, Don was Director of Program Management and Supply Chain services at Verizon Telematics. His career experience includes Account, Program, Contract, and Operations Management, as well as Customer Service. Don worked with several defense contractors and telecommunication providers throughout his career in various management roles, prior to joining Strategic Banking Partners. With this broad and extensive background, Don has been able to assist in establishing solid processes and procedures that benefit the internal and external SBP customers. Don is able to provide solid leadership to the SBP team to build a strong foundation of operational excellence. Through his passion for developing strong procedures he has demonstrated a tremendous ability to support and maintain numerous operational business objectives. Don attended National University graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Computer Science. Since joining Strategic Banking Partners, he has attended several classes related to the SBA loan process, including loan origination and servicing.

Mike Hart

Mike Hart is the Packaging Coordinator for Strategic Banking Partners (SBP). His role includes responsibility for coordinating the packaging of SBA loans on behalf of our clients and their customers in accordance with the standards set forth in the SOP 50 10 5 and the policies and requirements of SBA One Loan Origination Solution. Mike joined Strategic Banking Partners in January 2017. He has an extensive twenty-five (25) year background in customer service and project leadership. Mike's career has been focused on sales and client relationships, with a passion for providing superior customer service. Since joining SBP Mike has been instrumental in streamlining the internal processes related to Packaging. He has worked with Lenders and Borrowers to understand their needs and to assist in mapping processes that have improved the gathering of the information necessary to input the necessary information into SBA One. Mike has attended several NAGGL sponsored classes related to the SBA loan process, including loan origination and packaging. He is instrumental in communicating the SBP services at industry conferences.

Stacey Westbrook
