Mandy joined our team in the spring of 2023 as a Legal Assistant, and we are thrilled to have her. Her executive planning, organizational skills, and attention to detail, have made her an invaluable member of the firm. Mandy works with us on all levels, processing legal documents, drafting, organizing client files, updating important informational mailings and so much moreā€¦ Mandy is a graduate of Immaculata University where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies. She was co-writer and assistant editor of the Liberal Studies Interactive Workbook publication, pioneering the new program for future students. Her diverse background started as an office assistant at Theraplay, a children's therapy suite. She went on to be promoted at the Brandywine Hospital to work alongside registered dieticians in the careful monitoring of patients' dietary needs. Mandy has over 20 years of experience using her eye for detail in the residential painting industry, running her own small business, Beaver Painting, for 10 years. Constantly immersed in different homes as a painter and personal assistant, she learned the vital importance for organization and management within families and business - skills directly transferable to the meticulous demands of legal support. Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys family time with her husband and two children.

Eileen Lake

Eileen has worked as a Bond and Insurance Underwriter for twenty-five years in the area of Estate Administration Law. She began her career at Fidelity & Deposit Company of Maryland, where she worked exclusively in the Judicial Department handling court appeal cases. After raising her own family, Eileen decided to dedicate her time to other children and families and began a fourteen year teaching career at her local YMCA in their pre-school program. Mrs. Steen met Eileen through her own advocacy work at the YMCA and knew she would be a perfect fit for our firm. In December of 2012, Eileen joined our Team and handles all of the day-to-day record keeping and organization of our office! In her spare time, Eileen enjoys spending time with her friends, three grown children and her beautiful grandchildren.

Julianne Pizzi

Julie has worked as a paralegal and an administrative legal assistant for over twenty-five years. Julie graduated from Bloomsburg University with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She began her career in the area of mortgage foreclosure, creditor's rights, real estate and bankruptcy law at Goldbeck, McCafferty & McKeever, P.C., located in Philadelphia. She then was able to utilize her expertise in this area at The Office of Christine Dehney, Esquire where she handled document drafting, courthouse filings and all aspects of client relations. Julie then joined the office of Martha E. Von Rosenstiel, P.C. where she expanded her experience to include case management, office management and training of other legal assistants. After the birth of her twin boys, one of whom has Autism, Julie developed a personal interest in Special Needs Planning and Estate Planning. She joined the office of Anderson Elder Law where she assisted with the drafting of Estate Planning Documents and worked hand in hand with attorneys to accomplish the client's goals with respect to all aspects of their estate planning needs. Due to a common interest in the area of families with Special Needs children, Julie met Mrs. Steen and joined the Law Office of Randy Hope Steen, Ltd. in 2017. Here she assists with the drafting of Estate Planning, Special Needs Planning and Estate Administration Documents. Julie also creates and coordinates marketing directives and coordinates outreach seminars for families with special needs children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her very active twin boys.

Richard L. Newman

Richard L. Newman is licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and practices Elder Law and Guardianship Law to serve clients in Bucks, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties. Mr. Newman has more than 35 years of legal experience and is affiliated with the following organizations National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; Pennsylvania Academy of Elder Law Attorneys; Pennsylvania Bar Association; Bucks County Bar Association. He is also accredited to practice before the Department of Veteran Affairs. At the present time he is the Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Elder Law Section. Mr. Newman is an active member of several business and civic organizations including: Bucks County Estate Planning Council; Bucks County Area Agency on Aging Advisory Council; Doylestown Rotary Club (president from 2012-2013). A graduate of Temple University School of Law (1986), Mr. Newman was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Temple University in 1983.
