Martin Berger is the Managing Member of Saber Real Estate Advisors, LLC and Saber Real Estate North, LLC ("Saber"), fully integrated real estate development companies in Armonk, N.Y. Saber specializes in land acquisition, financing and development of commercial, residential and mixed-use projects. Marty has conceived, negotiated and implemented development plans representing nearly $2 billion in completed value. Marty received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern University in Boston in 1980 and his M.B.A. in 1982. He went on to become Vice President of Property Management at Diversified Holding Corp., responsible for managing 38 commercial and residential properties valued at more than $450 million nationwide. In 1989, he founded McCann Development Series II, LLC (Saber's predecessor). McCann developed more than a dozen shopping centers, two Ritz Carlton resort hotels, a Ritz Carlton condominium tower and a health care operation employing upward of 500 professionals and caring for hundreds of people annually.

Prior to founding Saber, Mr. Klinger spent 12 years sourcing, structuring and managing real estate investments and developments for The Blackstone Group and The Related Companies in New York and Florida. From 1996 to 2000, Mr. Klinger worked in the Real Estate Private Equity Group at The Blackstone Group where he analyzed, structured and managed private equity real estate transactions worldwide including the acquisitions of office buildings, apartment complexes, hotels, land and publicly traded real estate companies. From 2000 to 2003, Mr. Klinger worked in the Real Estate Development and Finance Group at The Related Companies developing a multitude of New York City and Chicago high-rise condominiums and tax-exempt financed rental apartments. While at Related, Mr. Klinger was instrumental in the acquisition of LR Development, a Chicago-based real estate development firm. From 2003 to 2007, Mr. Klinger sourced deals and developed condominiums and resort communities for The Related Group in Florida. Mr. Klinger is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of The Wharton School.
