Established in 1929 by Samuel Rosenstein, and still owned and operated by the same family, Royal Furniture of Port Jervis, has long been an anchor business in this historic city. The store has evolved through the years, now encompassing three floors and over 30,000 square feet. The business was originally operated in two adjacent buildings on lower Pike Street and, in the mid-seventies expanded to occupy the entire corner lot. That expansion set the image for which the store is now so widely known.
