Chris Gayle

Chris graduated from the New England Culinary Institute with a BA in Food and Beverage Management. After settling in the Pacific Northwest, he took on an executive role with a local restaurant brand, working to make his mark. During his hospitality career, Chris developed and implemented several innovative menu designs and execution, directed successful multi-unit growth expansion, and has been recognized for many achievements and outstanding thought leadership. Throughout his career, Chris has embraced technology as a way to simplify and improve many aspects of how restaurants work. From more efficient kitchen operations to better labor management, insightful business analytics, or leveraging mobility and secure payments in the cloud, his love and passion for Hospitality and Technology eventually brought him to Aloha. With almost thirty years of Hospitality and Technology experience, Chris feels right at home helping large brand restaurants and independents alike find great value and success using technology to run a better business. When he is not at work, you will likely find him enjoying the outdoors with family on the water or in the mountains, volunteering with youth recreational sports, or vegging out with a classic 80's movie!​

James Pease

Job Titles:
  • Director of Services
James brings a plethora of industry and company history knowledge to his Director of Services role. Starting with the company for his first tour in the 90's, James is now on his third tour with what is now i3 Point of Sale. James has held many roles within the organization and his knowledge of the Aloha product as well as all of the technical disciplines involved in hospitality IT is one of our secret weapons. During his time away from the company James worked for a few large restaurant IT groups who used the Aloha product giving him the unique perspective that our clients have, which helps him drive his teams to exceed client expectations. When he's not orchestrating implementation excellence, James enjoys trips to the desert to ride the dunes on his dirt bike, taking in a sunny San Diego day with 18 holes of golf and hitting the slopes snow skiing with his family.

Kristen Stone

Job Titles:
  • Operations Manager
Hailing from Sunny San Diego, Kristen's first POS experience came from retail, not hospitality. Working in a customer service environment at the retail juggernaut that is Nordstrom, Kristen honed her customer service skills while learning operational and logistical excellence. Stepping away from retail she decided to further improve those skills at San Diego State University (Go Aztecs) earning an MBA in Organizational Management, which she imparts here at i3 Point of Sale daily in her Operations Management role. When not implementing and managing processes, Kristen enjoys baking tasty treats, running so she can eat those tasty treats, competing in half marathons, and traveling.

Stephany Brown

Job Titles:
  • Help Desk Manager
Stephany has enjoyed the hospitality industry since she was 15 years old in central Iowa. Despite pursing an education in agriculture, Stephany decided to stick with what she enjoyed most and that led her to become a restaurant manager. Her tenure in hospitality laid the groundwork for her transition into becoming an Aloha Reseller, where her primary focus became connected payments and payment processing. With time and effort, she also made her mark on the help desk and project management teams. Stephany become a member of the i3POS team in July 2019 and hasn't looked back. She utilizes her years of restaurant and customer service experience to bring the best results to our customers as the Connected Payments Specialist and now a Help Desk Manager. In her free time, Stephany enjoys time spent with her family and kids, shopping, and golfing.

Thomas Colbert

Job Titles:
  • Vice President of Operations
Thomas is the authority in all things San Diego Cash Register. Hired on by one the founder's sons Thomas has spent the last 35 years honing his industry and company knowledge. His sage wisdom has helped build and guide the newer members of the team and helped them to achieve success in all areas. During his tenure Thomas has held almost every role here at what is now i3 Point of Sale, and this intimate knowledge of the interworking's of the company helps Thomas in his Director of Operations role today. When he's not strategizing or mentoring, Thomas enjoys hitting the slopes skiing all over the country, biking through the mountains of eastern San Diego, or spending time with his wife, who he met at San Diego Cash Register, and son.​

Tom Oldner - CEO

Tom brings to the team a treasury of knowledge and experience in financial modeling and forecasting with his impressive tenure in finance prior to starting with what is now i3 Point of Sale more than 12 years ago. In his CEO role, Tom uses his innate skill set to look beyond just numbers to market and community factors to have dollars make sense for our clients and employees alike. His unique, comprehensive mentor style approach helps drive all clients and internal team members towards quality business decisions that take more into account than just the bottom line, but overall quality of life as well. When he's not counselling stakeholders or predicting the budgetary future, Tom, a native San Diegan, spends his time surfing, carving up the slopes on his snowboard, helping to mentor and mold young people, and spending time with his wife and family.

Zach Stanford - VP of Sales

Zach worked in fine dining before joining i3 Point Of Sale, where for more than a decade he's been using his industry expertise to help restaurants thrive. He was drawn to the job because he saw firsthand how ineffective POS systems impair restaurant operations-and how Aloha made everything work seamlessly. He enjoys listening to clients and helping them put together comprehensive solutions that meet their unique needs. When he's not serving the best POS sales team in the business, he spends time with his wife and two children, plays music, and reads.
