April Smith has been employed with Salter Insurance Agency since 2007 where she is an insurance agent specializing in commercial truck insurance. She is dedicated to her insureds and making sure they receive the best coverage options, pricing, and service available. She finds joy in making sure the small family-owned businesses are covered properly while offering savings. April holds a Property & Casualty and Life & Health license. Prior to being licensed, April graduated college with two degrees: a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Troy University and an Associate of Science from Wallace Community College. April and Jeremy have been married since 2004, and they share a daughter named Ansleigh and a Miniature Schnauzer named Macy. When April isn't working, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and cheering on Ansleigh, her favorite college softball player.
Betty (the owner and founder of Salter Insurance Agency) was an agent with the Farm Bureau for many years prior to establishing our agency. She is licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health, and she holds a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation. In her spare time, Betty loves serving in many different community functions as well as her church. You can find Betty spending time with her husband, Larry, and their children at the beach and cheering on the Auburn Tigers when she's not at the beach.

Chris joined Salter Insurance in 2012 as a commercial truck insurance agent. He is licensed in Property & Casualty and is a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). He takes great pride in working with insureds to meet their insurance needs. Chris is married to his wife, Sharon, and they have three children. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar, physical fitness, and family gatherings.
Dennis has been our personal lines agent since July 2023 and employed with our agency since October 2022. He currently holds a property and casualty insurance license. Dennis was born in Germany to an American Military Family and has lived all around the globe. His father is a Blackhawk pilot which is how Dennis landed in the wiregrass. Dennis currently resides in Newton, Alabama with his lovely wife Tami and their pets. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling all over the country in their camper with their cat and three dogs.
Erin started working with Salter Insurance in June of 2021 after being in the shipping industry for over 10 years. Currently, Erin holds a license in property and casualty and is a commercial account manager. In her spare time, she enjoys Mexican food, camping, shopping, and spending time with her husband, BJ alongside their two dogs: Waylon and Shark Bait.
Hillary has been employed with Salter Insurance as a customer service representative since December of 2020. Currently, she is a commercial account manager. Hillary has been married to her husband, Dylan, since 2014. They share two beautiful daughters, Reagan and Brantley, and a dog named Maverick. She enjoys spending time with her family, fishing with her husband, going to the beach, and watching college football. Roll Tide!

Jeremy began working for Salter Insurance Agency in July 2005 as a personal line's agent. In 2007, he transitioned to commercial lines where he is currently an agent that specializes in trucking insurance as well as many other commercial property and casualty coverages. Jeremy holds a license in Property & Casualty, a Specialist in Transportation and Risk (STAR) designation, and Class A CDLs. Prior to working for Salter, Jeremy operated machinery and drove commercial trucks. In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys coaching travel fastpitch softball, hunting, watching college sports, and spending time with his wife, April, and their daughter, Ansleigh.
Lynn has been employed with Salter Insurance Agency as a commercial lines' customer service representative since June 2014 and is currently a Commercial Account Manager. Lynn has lived in Ashford her entire life and fully supports her hometown and local businesses. Outside of the office, you can find Lynn spending time with her family - husband, Steven; sons, Preston (Linzey) Still and Colin Still; and grandsons, Lane Kash Still and Stetson Kross Still. Some of Lynn's favorite pastimes include attending her grandsons' sporting events, watching football, relaxing at the beach, and enjoying a home-cooked southern meal.
Miranda joined Salter Insurance Agency in August 2015 as a customer service representative in the commercial lines department. Currently, she is a commercial account manager and holds her Property and Casualty insurance license. She has been married to her husband, Joe, since 2004. They have two children, Emma and Jacob. In her spare time, Miranda enjoys watching her children participate in various sports, reading, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Savannah began working for Salter Insurance in September 2019 as a commercial customer service representative and is currently the personal lines assistant. She is a graduate of Wallace Community College. Out of the office, you will find her with a guitar in her hands worshipping God at her church, Bluff Springs Baptist, or yelling "War Eagle" at an Auburn University football game! She has three dogs, Aubie, River, and Jaybird. She enjoys relaxing vacations on the beach, family and friend gatherings, and country music concerts.

Taylor began working with Salter Insurance Agency, LLC in October of 2023 as a customer service representative. Prior to working for our agency, Taylor worked in the retail industry where she gained a deep appreciation for helping others. Taylor is the mother of 4 children: Miley, Ryder, Isabelle, and Cailyn. In Taylor's free time, she enjoys kayaking, watching her children play sports, and spending time with friends and family. In addition, she enjoys cooking for her friends and family as it is her love language. Fun Fact about Taylor: she is a Florida Gators fan, and screams "Go Gators!"
