Shareholder Don Applegarth has more than 26 years of public accounting experience and is the practice leader of the Schneider Downs Accounting, Assurance and Advisory Services department. He has experience serving companies in a variety of industries, including but not limited to manufacturing, retail, construction, real estate, transportation and logistics, and natural resources.

Eric has been involved with Information Technology at Schneider Downs since 1983. He specializes in and oversees the design, setup, installation and implementation of automated accounting, distribution and manufacturing systems.
Eric has implemented a wide range of ERP software solutions for clients. Budgets associated with these solutions have ranged from $25,000 to $5 million. Many of these projects have entailed integrating the client supply chain with their manufacturing and distribution systems and, most recently, has focused on the development of data warehouses for business analytics and artificial intelligence solutions. In addition to his process automation responsibilities, Eric is also responsible for the firm's IT compliance services. He has assisted a number of our clients with their compliance requirements, including PCI-DSS, SOX, ISO 27001, NIST security audits and is responsible for the delivery of more than 150 SOC reports a year.
has been involved with Information Technology with Schneider Downs since 1983 and oversees the firm's thriving Technology Consulting and IT Audit & Compliance practices. Through this role, Eric brings extensive experience in assessing IT infrastructure and identifying cybersecurity risk and exposure.
Evan is a shareholder in the Tax Advisory Services department with more than 23 years of experience in all areas of tax compliance and reporting, planning and research. He serves clients in a number of industries, including manufacturing, technology, distribution, professional services and private equity. His expertise includes tax planning and the development and communication of tax strategies to management along with the review of corporate, partnership and individual income tax returns.
Evan has significant experience in GAAP accounting and reporting, including ASC 740 income taxes and tax provision calculations. He works with the Schneider Downs Business Advisory department on tax due diligence procedures related to buy-side and sell-side transactions, specifically in identifying and qualifying the risks and maximizing benefits with transaction structure.
Evan has also worked with the firm's Internal Audit department assisting clients with their review of internal controls and processes as they relate to income taxes and ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
Shareholder Evan Ogrodnik has been with Schneider Downs since 2005 and is one of our experts in tax compliance and planning, accounting, and financial reporting matters.

Gennaro has been with firm since 1987 and is known for his ability to connect with people through his personal interests in networking and relationship building. He has held numerous leadership roles at Schneider Downs and is a recognized mentor to young professionals.
He has widespread experience in all areas of tax and business planning associated with closely held companies particularly in the real estate and construction industries.
Gennaro delivers services to the firm's clients on a variety of tax and business planning matters that include the coordination and delivery of tax compliance services to closely held businesses and their owners. He also excels in developing, communicating and implementing tax minimization strategies, merger, acquisition, divestiture and overall entity and individual planning. He has also assisted many clients in overall succession planning strategies. Through these activities he has earned a reputation as a trusted advisor on many complex business issues.
For more than 30 years, Gennaro has successfully balanced his tax, financial and people skills to assist clients in achieving their strategic objectives and goals for their businesses and families. He is an active member of numerous professional organizations and serves as a committed servant through his involvement with numerous community and charitable organizations.
Shareholder Gennaro DiBello has widespread experience in all areas of tax and business planning associated with closely held companies, and he's been with Schneider Downs since 1987.
