Dr. Manek Patel is a very senior dental surgeon in Ahmedabad, who has been rendering professional services for more than three decades. He served as a Professor of Dentistry at the Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad and Dental Surgeon at Sheth L.G.General Hospital, Ahmedabad for fifteen years. He had been the President of Indian Dental Association (Gujarat State) and Dental Practitioners' Society, Ahmedabad. The Silver Jubilee Conference of Dental Practitioners' Society and the World Conference of Government Dental College, Ahmedabad Alumni Association were held under the Chairmanship of Dr. Manek Patel. He has authored the column and book on the History of Ahmedabad titled "Amdavad-Katha" and also "Dant Sathe Dosti" a book on Dental science for the public at large. He is currently the Chairman of the Dental Health Foundation, Ahmedabad. Under his direct observation at Setu Dental Centre, a team of super specialists renders multi-disciplinary services under one roof.
