Catharina Scharrer

Catharina Scharrer studied law with a focus on employment law at the University of Hamburg and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. She then worked as a research assistant in the employment law team of an international law firm. She completed her practical legal training at the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Regional Court. Subsequently, Ms. Scharrer initially worked in the employment law team of an international law firm. She joined our law firm as a lawyer in November 2022. Dr. Cornelius Lindemann

Dr. Cornelius Lindemann studied law at Heidelberg University with a focus on labor and social security law. Following his studies, he received his doctorate from the Faculty of Law at the University of Heidelberg with a thesis on working time law. He completed his legal Traineeship in Hamburg (including stages at Allen & Overy LLP and the Labor Court of Hamburg) and in Seoul, South Korea (Shin & Kim LLC). Holger Meyer completed his legal education at the Christian-Albrechts University Kiel. During his post graduate legal training (Referendariat) he worked amongst others in Kiel, Frankfurt / Main and Washington D.C. In 2003, he graduated as a doctor of law (Dr. iur) with a doctoral thesis in which he dealt with specific problems of the transfer of undertakings-legislation in Germany and Europe. He was appointed as a Certified Lawyer for German Employment and Labour Law in 2004. Holger Meyer worked from 2001 until 2010 as a lawyer in the employment, pensions and benefits practice group of the leading international law firm White & Case LLP in Hamburg, where he was appointed as a Local Partner in 2006. In 2010 he became a founding and active partner in the law firm SCHRAMM MEYER KUHNKE. Holger holds lectures and publishes in professional journals on employment law topics regularly. Holger Meyer is recommended as a leading German employment and business lawyer since many years in numerous rankings, e.g. JUVE handbook ("proven in restructurings", "high level of professional expertise" - handbook 2016/2017), Handelsblatt / Best Lawyers, Lawyer Monthly ("Labour & Employment Lawyer of the Year - Germany 2013"), Legal 500. Dr. Matthias Münder

Dr. Matthias Münder studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at Boston University School of Law, USA, from 2009 to 2014. From 2015 to 2020, he worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Civil Law, Labour Law and Civil Procedure Law of Prof. Dr. Matthias Jacobs at Bucerius Law School. In 2020, he received his doctorate from Bucerius Law School with a dissertation on collective bargaining law and EU law. Starting in February 2020, Dr. Münder completed his practical legal training with a focus on labour law at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, Hamburg, Germany, with stations at i.a. the Hamburg Regional Labour Court and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs in Berlin. Following his practical legal training, Dr. Münder worked as a Policy Advisor at the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Berlin, in the department for Collective Bargaining Law, Minimum Wage Law, Posting of Workers Law. He joined our law firm as a lawyer in October 2022. Areas of expertise Matthias Münder advises on all aspects of individual and collective employment law. Dr. Maximilian Kulenkampff

Dr. Maximilian Kulenkampff studied law from 2011 to 2016 at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at Gonville & Caius College in Cambridge, Great Britain. In 2019, he completed his practical legal training at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg (stations included the Regional Labour Court of Hamburg and CMS Hasche Sigle, Labour Law Department). After Mr. Kulenkampff was admitted to the bar in July 2019 by the Hanseatic Bar Association, he initially worked in the employment law team of the international commercial law firm Allen & Overy LLP before joining our firm in May 2020. In addition to his work at SCHRAMM MEYER KUHNKE, Mr. Kulenkampff is finalizing his doctoral thesis on the subject of the recording of working hours. Michael Kuhnke completed his legal education at the University of Konstanz and the McGill University Montreal, Canada. After his legal training, he joined the leading international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a lawyer and worked there from 2005 until 2010 in the employment, pensions and benefits practice group in Hamburg. Michael Kuhnke has worked since 2010 for SCHRAMM MEYER KUHNKE and is a founding and active partner of this firm. Nils Schramm completed his legal education at the universities of Kiel and Paris (France) and worked as a legal trainee amongst others in Berlin and Barcelona. From 2002 until 2010, Nils Schramm was a lawyer in the leading international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Hamburg and was appointed Counsel in 2008. Nils Schramm is a founding and active partner of SCHRAMM MEYER KUHNKE. He is also a lecturer of law at the Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and the author of many publications relating to employment law. Areas of expertise Nils Schramm advises companies and executives on all aspects of employment law and represents his clients in and out of court. He has many years of experience in advising companies on restructurings, in particular site closures, relocations or downsizings and has assisted his clients in negotiations with works councils and labour unions. Dr. Richard Petras, LL.M. (Cape Town) studied law at the University of Hamburg and subsequently completed his postgraduate legal training at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court Hamburg, including stages with Esche Schümann Commichau and Hogan Lovells in Frankfurt. After his second state examination, he finished his doctoral dissertation on a topic related to temporary work at Bucerius Law School. In addition, he worked as a research assistant in the employment law team of a commercial law firm in Hamburg. In 2019 he completed a master's degree at the University of Cape Town.
