What do you like about working for the AmeriLux Family of Companies? In my position, I get to use my creative side a ton, and by nature I am somewhat of a perfectionist. A creative perfectionist can definitely be a blessing and a curse, but what I love about my job is that my team empowers me to believe in the decisions I am making, and also give me constructive feedback as I am working through different projects. Getting to work somewhere that is so intentional about teamwork and collaboration makes me truly feel like my voice is heard and that all ideas are important to the continued success of the company. What are your top 3 favorite podcasts/books? Armchair Expert (podcast) and really any non-fiction book I can get my hands on.

I absolutely love working at AmeriLux and Shape Products. The people are hands-down, my favorite aspect. Joe Nick - CFO

Job Titles:
  • Chief Financial Officer
  • Chief Financial Officer ( CFO ) for the AmeriLux Family of Companies
Joining the team in 2016, Joe is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the AmeriLux Family of Companies. Joe holds his BS in Electrical Engineering and MBA in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from University of Wisconsin - Madison. With a background in engineering, operations, and finance he brings a unique perspective to the team that puts an emphasis on the big picture. Throughout the week you can find Joe reviewing results and looking for trends that we can turn into opportunities and coaching team members so that we can be even better tomorrow. What do you like about working for the AmeriLux Family of Companies? Two things I think set us apart are culture and growth. I get to work with great people that remind me every day that work can, and should, be fun. We spend a lot of time working on culture and we are intentional about figuring out how to fulfill every employee more each day. In turn, this creates an even better culture. In my experience, companies that have big goals often lose sight of their culture or are at least are not intentional about it. At AmeriLux, we believe we are successful, because of our culture - it's not merely a byproduct. What are your top 3 favorite podcasts/books? I read the Wall Street Journal every day. I'm fascinated with trends happening in the world and think they do a great job pointing out some thought-provoking content about what is happening in the world. That is also why I enjoy listening to the The Future of Everything podcast. Other than that, I love listening to people's real stories - whether that's in a book, podcast, show, or movie.
