David D. Schwalb is a real estate entrepreneur based in the Chicago area. David is President of Schwalb Realty Group, Inc. a firm specializing in privately-brokered commercial real estate and finance transactions nationwide.
David works with family offices, private investors and institutions seeking to acquire top tier real estate assets through private channels. He also advises clients on debt and equity funding strategies for acquisitions and development.
In addition to commercial brokerage, David is an investor in several multifamily assets and is a principal in Fredco Management LLC, whose affiliated entities are involved in the ownership and operation of truck stops, gas stations and associated businesses. David also serves as a board member and President of the North American Truck Stop Network, a national marketing consortium of over 130 independent truck stops.
Prior to founding his brokerage firm, David practiced corporate, finance, franchise and real estate law at several downtown Chicago law firms. David graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law with a J.D. and from Boston University with a B.A. magna cum laude with distinction.
In the community, David currently serves on the Board of Directors of Housing and Human Development Corporation. David has also served on the Board of Directors of The Standard Club in Chicago, the Board of Governors of the University of Illinois Hillel Foundation, Lookingglass Theatre Junior Board, and the Associate Council of the Chicago Emergency Fund. He resides in the North Shore of Chicago with his wife, daughter and son.
Since joining Schwalb Realty Group in 2017, Dmytro Lakhman has primarily focused his efforts on the commercial real estate needs of investors seeking office, industrial, and health care assets. In addition, Dmytro has successfully represented businesses seeking to acquire industrial properties for their own operations. The majority of Dmytro's closed transactions have been non-listed properties.
Dmytro's knowledge and drive has helped transactions move from offer to contract. Equally important, Dmytro's resourcefulness has helped ensure that pending transactions get the proper attention necessary to help clients achieve a successful closing. Dmytro brings his prior experiences in the areas of health care and service business operations to provide excellent client service. Dmytro's zealous representation of clients embodies our firm's approach to delivering superior results.
Joyce Wippman is Executive Vice President. Joyce maintains a leading role in Schwalb Realty Group's commercial property leasing services for both tenants and landlords.
Joyce draws upon over 25 years of experience primarily focused on commercial leasing. She has provided her expertise to tenants seeking office and retail space throughout metropolitan Chicago. No assignment is too large nor too small for Joyce as she works with both entrepreneurs and established companies to pursue their evolving workspace needs.
In the community, Joyce serves as a long-standing member of the Women's Board of the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago.
Joyce earned her M.B.A. from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
