SARNIA STREET MACHINES

The Sarnia Street Machines began in 1985 with a few guys and gals in a garage. The SSM is a non-profit organization whose mission is to continually promote the car hobby through various events and activities which raise funds for our charitable community partner. Some of the events include hosting car shows, cruises and concerts, visiting retirement homes, participating in parades, delivering flowers for the MS Society, Hobby Fest etc. All of the proceeds from our events over the years have been donated to many different charities, community organizations and service clubs. The Club hosted the Canadian Nationals Car Show on 2 different occasions which was a monumental undertaking. The Club organizes and runs 2 large car show events each year, "Cruise in the Park" in June and "Hot Night, Cool Cars" (formerly Hot August Nights) in August.
