Anji Barton

Anji has over 10 years experience in digital marketing and managing large, complex web, software and native app projects. She began her career as web developer and evolved into positions including Digital Marketing Manager and Director of Production. Anji transitioned into project management because of a deep passion for efficient process. As a Senior Project Manager, Anji approaches all projects with a strong strategic focus and an emphasis on team building while always maintaining a clear path towards achieving project goals. She is committed to process improvement and team morale while at the same time exceeding client/stakeholder expectations. Anji has experience in many industries including CPG, Pharma, and Automotive. She is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). In addition to Project Management, Anji volunteers in dog rescue, enjoys travelling, and practices mindfulness meditation.

Caroline Dinnall

Caroline believes content strategy is a premium force towards creating and maintaining meaningful relationships between organizations and consumers. On the advertising side, she's written and casted for television commercials and radio spots. As for analytics, she has knowledge in tracking customer engagement and patterns as a result of social and display ads initiatives. She has researched and produced content for programs on CTV News Channel, CBC, Rogers TV, and myriad broadcasts and publications in the Greater Toronto Area. She delights in giving back to the community, formerly holding self-image workshops for young women at Eva's Initiatives, a facility that offers emergency housing solutions for homeless youth. In her spare time, she enjoys challenging DIY projects, blogging, and trying new foods.

George Kavuma

George works across UX design, research, and content production, concentrating on understanding the human experience, using research, conversation, and data. They do this all with the goal of enabling the creation of tools to enhance the human experience. George graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Interaction Design from Sheridan College, and has since been working in UI design, content and video creation, and UX design for a range of clients. They work with stakeholders in fast-paced environments to creatively design solutions and create content. When they're not designing, George also enjoys running, photography, and music creation.

Janice de Jong

Janice strives to make the voice of the user heard-with a particular focus on the needs of future users. Driven by the belief that understanding today can build a better tomorrow, she is passionate about inspiring others to create the future. With a background in Industrial Design and a Master's in Strategic Foresight and Innovation, her toolkit consists of a wide range of strategic foresight and user research methodologies, such as trend scanning, scenario planning, experiential futures, contextual interviews, and usability studies. Janice's roots are in the high tech industry, and her work has been seen in the hands of millions of mobile phone users. Previous clients include JP Morgan Chase, Blue Ant Media, and The School of Continuing Studies at University of Toronto. A dynamic speaker, Janice has guest lectured on the intersection of trends and design at various universities, including Art Center College of Design, Carleton University, and Wilfrid Laurier University. By night she is an avid knitter, gardener, cook and wannabe yogi. She volunteers at the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society as a Cat Adoption Counsellor, ferments anything she can get her hands on, and dreams of owning an alpaca farm.

Kamari Akers

Kamari is a developer who specialises in building responsive web applications. Kamari's goal is to create innovative and accessible products that solve technical challenges with simple solutions. Intuitive user experiences drive her development process, and she's passionate about creating meaningful experiences for users and enhancing the usability of digital products. Kamari has a strong interest in bridging the gap between design and code in order to achieve end-user goals. As part of her work, she transforms design concepts and interaction patterns into reusable and performant code, creating digital products that provide a seamless interaction between human and computer. At Say Yeah, Kamari is involved in defining and shipping digital products while understanding and sharing the processes for delivering inclusive applications through research, experimentation, revision, and execution. In her spare time, Kamari can be found in Toronto's latest coffee spot, exploring the city, or learning to play the bass.

Kate Matesic

Kate is a multidisciplinary designer and researcher, working across interaction and service design to deliver inclusively-designed products and services. An enthusiastic advocate of designing for social good, she's most excited by public innovation projects and designing to increase access and inclusion for people. User research, as well as a love for experimentation, drive Kate's design process. She enjoys breaking down systems and exploring tactics to improve experiences in unconventional ways. This work is all underpinned by human-centred principles and working laterally across disciplines. Her range of design interests outside of digital design, including physical computing and immersive experiences, fuel an ever-changing way of reframing design challenges in her interaction and service design work. Outside of her work at Say Yeah, Kate can be found going for runs and volunteering with local civic tech projects and arts initiatives.

From customer experience to service delivery, Lee's day-to-day at Say Yeah is spent coaching organizations-from public sector to industrial, sports to finance, insurance and more-on how to leverage technology and human-centred design processes in ways that increase market opportunity and engagement while reducing costs and inefficiencies.

Lucy La Grassa

Lucy is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for strategic innovation, high-integrity leadership and purpose-driven technologies. Her focus is on building customer-centric, values-based businesses supported by healthy internal and external relationships. She has her PhD in Organizational Development and Transformational Education, specializing in leadership ethics. Lucy brings her experience as a business, executive, and personal coach to Say Yeah and its management team to improve decision-making, processes, systems, and strategic thinking. She is a Certified Positive Intelligence Coach (CPQC) and guides Say Yeah's leaders to overcome issues, obstacles, and challenges by turning them into executable business opportunities and solutions. Lucy is an internationally trained Chair and Coach for The Executive Committee (TEC-Canada, known as Vistage, globally). She brings this expertise to Say Yeah, where she works with the CEO to further develop as a leader and grow the company with purpose and direction. Lucy supports her work with Say Yeah with a deep and varied career as a serial entrepreneur, having been a publisher, partner in a media, marketing and public relations firm, and distributor of global SAAS platforms and services in the film, social media, education and green spaces. She has worked with Indigenous peoples in education, housing and economic development. Lucy is currently a partner in Mussio La Grassa Inc, a training, coaching and consulting firm specializing in leadership and management. She is also the co-founder of Spoonful, a streaming platform for bite-sized learning. Lucy is global and community-minded. She gives back through her work on the Board for Immigrant Women in Business and as a committee member for the University of the West Indies (UWI) annual Toronto Benefit Awards scholarship program for students in need.

Maryam Atoyebi

Maryam is passionate about growth, innovation, and inclusivity. Matt Rintoul
