The Schematic Design Phase begins with a meeting between the client and SDH Design Solutions to discover what is needed to develop a floor plan that fits your individual and family needs. Freehand sketches are created to show floor plans that reflect the information gained in the initial meeting. These sketches will be drawn to scale and usually require several attempts to achieve the owner and designers vision. The same process is used to develop the lower and upper floor plans of the project. Progress drawings will be reviewed back and forth via meetings, emails, and postal or express packages. Communication during this phase is very important and it is critical that you are available for frequent consultations with SDH Design Solutions to review your plans during this phase.
