Bob Ketchum, CPCU, CLU, ChFC, serves as Vice President of Product and Underwriting at Security First Insurance Company. He has over 35 years of management experience in the property casualty industry and over 25 years in officer-level roles in Product/Underwriting management. He began his career with Nationwide Insurance and held various management and director-level roles in Claims, Finance, Internal Audits, and Product Development. He spent 14 years at American Modem Insurance in various Vice President Product roles prior to joining Security First in January 2017. He also served on the South Carolina Wind and Hail Underwriting Committee for five years. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Akron and his MBA in Finance from Ohio University.

Clive Becker-Jones, who has worked in various capacities with the leadership of Security First for the past 15 years, has returned to resume his role as Chief Financial Officer at Security First Insurance. Becker-Jones, a former CFA (Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales), brings five decades of insurance experience, including experience at the Hartford. He was a member of AIDA, Reinsurance and Insurance Arbitration Society, and has a wealth of knowledge regarding accounting, finance, and reinsurance.

Dave Violette serves as the Vice President of Business Systems at Security First Insurance Company. Mr. Violette joined the company in August 2022. As the Vice President of Business Systems, Mr. Violette leads the strategy, design, development, and maintenance of our core insurance business systems. Although he graduated from the Palm Beach State College Criminal Justice Institute, Mr. Violette has nearly two decades of Software, Technology, and Business Process Management experience, all in the Insurance and Financial Services space. Most of his career has been in the Florida P&C Market at carriers in startup and major growth phases, including People's Trust Insurance Company and FedNat Insurance Company, where he served as Director of IT, Business Process Management before joining Security First.

Janell Simmons, PHR, SHRM-CP, will join Security First Insurance Company as Vice President of People & Culture effective February 20, 2022. Ms. Simmons has over 20 years of experience leading Human Resource teams and creating and building a culture of excellence through developing, engaging, and supporting the workforce in efficient, effective, and progressive delivery of human services, program development, change management, performance management, and organizational leadership. Ms. Simmons earned a B.S. in Business Administration, Management, and Leadership from Eastern Oregon University.

Lloyd Stofko serves as Vice President of Ceded Reinsurance at Security First Company. Mr. Stofko joined Security First in January 2020 and has over 30 years of Florida property and casualty insurance experience and reinsurance experience. He has been actively focused on the specialized Florida insurance and reinsurance market for most of his career and brokered and advised Florida P&C accounts for over 25 years with Guy Carpenter. Mr. Stofko started his career with IBM teaching PC business applications after graduating from State University of New York Binghamton University with a degree in mathematics and computer science and a minor in political science.

Locke moved to Florida in 1974 after working at the First National Bank of Chicago and earning an MBA at Northwestern and a law degree at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Locke served in the Florida Senate for 12 years (1991 to 2002) where he helped write the laws that created the Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund and Citizens Property Insurance Company. Locke served in the Florida Senate in 1992 when Hurricane Andrew made landfall. In the aftermath of the storm, Floridians lost more than $26 billion in insured property. The losses also crippled the insurance industry and left the residents of the state frustrated, and in some cases without resources to rebuild their homes and lives. After leaving public office, Locke created Security First Insurance. Locke is recognized by Florida Trend Magazine as one of the 500 most influential business leaders in Florida in 2018 and 2019. Locke Burt comes from a family with over a 100-year legacy in insurance, beginning with his great grandfather in 1918. After witnessing first-hand the devastation of Hurricane Andrew in 1992 while serving in the Florida Senate, Locke was instrumental in helping Florida navigate its way out from under the rubble of a collapsing insurance market. He sought to create an insurance company that could better serve Floridan's unique needs. Locke led Security First Insurance for 15 years. In 2020 his daughter, Melissa Burt DeVriese, became President overseeing operations as Locke serves as CEO and Chairman. Both continue to steer the company as leaders in Florida homeowners insurance.

Mark has over 40 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. His experience includes field and home office positions for national and regional carriers in underwriting, marketing, operations, and business development. In his role with Security First, Mark is the VP of Quality Assurance and Training, overseeing underwriting, claims, and customer service.

Melissa has been with Security First since 2009. She currently oversees the company's operations and leads the development of strategy and corporate policy. Before serving as President, she served as General Counsel and as Chief Administrative Officer. Melissa previously worked in Washington D.C. in various legal and regulatory roles for a large national law firm, a United States Congressman, and a Presidential Appointee in the Department of Transportation. Her background in regulatory and legal matters helps guide decision-making and ensures high cooperation with state regulators. Additionally, she is actively working with state lawmakers on impacting Florida's homeowner's insurance industry. Melissa holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown Law Center and is a licensed attorney in Florida, Washington D.C., and California. Melissa currently serves as in-coming Chair of the board of Easterseals of Northeast Central Florida, a member of the Ormond Memorial Art Museum, a board member of The Institutes and FAIR (Federal Association For Insurance Reform). She is a past president of the Junior League of Daytona Beach.

Mike Killingsworth serves as Vice President of Sales at Security First Insurance Company. Mr. Killingworth joined Security First in January 2023 and has over 18 years of sales leadership experience. He served as Vice President of Sales at two PEAK6 InsurTech companies simultaneously: We Insure and TeamFocus Insurance Group. Before PEAK6 InsurTech, Mr. Killingsworth served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Seibels, Vice President of Sales at Gulfstream Property & Casualty Company, and was a territory manager at Safeco Insurance and GMAC Insurance. He started his career as an Allstate agency owner and holds a B.S. in Business.

Richard has over 30 years of information technology experience, having worked with varying systems and technologies across a variety of industries, including Healthcare, Transportation, Direct Marketing, Technology, and Financial Services, 5 of which were spent working in Germany, where he held a leadership role for a team that provided technology services to business partners across 3 continents. Mr. Wilson joined the company in 2018 and has held various leadership roles at Security First. As the Vice President of Information Systems & Technology, Mr. Wilson leads the design, development, and implementation of our information technology systems, software applications, business intelligence, and data management systems, as well as our technology support processes and infrastructure. Mr. Wilson draws upon his breadth of knowledge and experience in crafting an information technology vision and roadmap for Security First.

He has previously served as an auditor for Peat Marwick, C.F.O. of Property Insurance Corporation, Family Security Insurance Company, Inc., and St. Johns Insurance Company, Inc. In addition to being Chief Financial Officer at Lighthouse Property Insurance Corporation, Scot served as President from 2017-2019 and Executive Vice President from 2013-2017. He received a B.B.A. in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Stetson University.
