Mr. George Banks, SSI's Chief Executive Officer, has over 30 years experience in implementing professional security solutions throughout the global arena. Mr. Banks founded Sentry Security International with a singular focus on providing tailor-made and scalable security solutions to add value to client's operations. His relentless focus and attention to detail resulted in Sentry Security International being recognized by both federal and state clients as one of the leading security companies within the National Capital Region. The Mayor of Washington, D.C., the Honorable Muriel Bowser, personally recognized Mr. Banks and the SSI staff for the many years of exemplary service that the company has provided to the city. On June 4, 1999 Mr. Banks Company SSI also received a Recognition through Resolution number CER 23-104 by all Thirteen Members of The Council of the District of Columbia Government. Mr. Banks also volunteered his time by serving as a Mayoral appointee on several important commissions representing the interests of the residents of Washington, DC. These commissions included the Commission on African Afairs , and currently The Metropolitan Police Department Police Standard and Training Board. Mr. Banks has a degree in Justice Studies and Political Science from Rhode Island College in Providence, Rhode Island. He began his security career with Guardmark in 1990. After holding various managerial positions within the company, he decided to strike out on his own and start Sentry Security International. Under his leadership, SSI has grown tremendously since the company was founded in 1999. Since then, SSI has won numerous Federal, State and commercial contracts.
