SEEVINCK

Records show that it was constructed and farming activities commenced before 1529. It is located at the village of Meddo, 3 km North of Winterswijk and 28 km East of Doetinchem... Bernde Sewynck (born approx. 1580) and his wife Naelken are the first on record. They purchased bits of farmland in this region. Their daughter Aeltien, born about 1603, married Jan ten Hove. He leased the Sevink farm from the widow Van Asbeeck and adopted the name Sewinck.
