Adam Schneck was the first person to settle in Schnecksville in 1756. He had a large tract of land and a log home which is still standing. The Schnecks are still living here. Schnecksville has a lot to offer to both residents and visitors. Some historical buildings such as the Schneck's log house are still standing and used as tourist attraction sites. If you want to learn about the German heritage in 1830, the Schneck house is the place to visit.
