Carmel joined Security Capital in 2012 bringing ten plus years of Accounts and Administration experience to the team.
Starting as the Accounts Payable Officer for Empar Distributors, now known as Novetec Building Products, she was promoted to Assistant Accountant after three years.
A sea change took Carmel to Broome in 2007 where she continued her work as an Assistant Accountant for a not for profit organisation, Kullarri Regional CDEP Inc. On returning to Perth, Carmel has been employed with Security Capital as the Accounts Administration Manager with a large component of her role involved in the syndication accounts and assisting the Company Secretary. Carmel was duly promoted to Assistant Accountant and in 2018 was again promoted to the position of Accountant.
After having worked in the property development industry for a number of years, first with Cedar Woods and then Menzies Court, Karen joined Security Capital Corporation in December 2000 as Executive Assistant to the Managing Director.
In the time that Karen has been with Security Capital she has built up strong relationships with many of the syndicate investors and clients.
Mark commenced his career in the finance industry over 35 years ago. To broaden his experience after 8 years he moved into the real estate industry whilst studying for his real estate license. He remained in the real estate industry for 9 years and his experience included residential sales, along with being Licensee and Branch Manager for a successful real estate office.
Mark re-entered the finance industry in 1985. Mark gained extensive experience in brokering property development loans, investment property loans and was active in working out strategies for clients with loans affected by the commercial property crisis in the early 90's.
Mark joined Security Capital Corporation in July 1997 as Senior Account Manager Commercial Property. Since that time Mark has been an integral part of the very successful finance team at Security Capital. His expertise is in organising funding on behalf of clients for both commercial and residential properties, property development and construction loans. Mark has also been involved in the management of a number of large private commercial property portfolios.

A CPA with many years' experience in the property and finance industries. Rod has been the Owner/Managing Director of Security Capital Corporation since 1976 and has been a successful property investor for many years.
Rod is also a Director / Co-Chairman of Property Capital Australia Ltd (AFSL 260780) and a Director of Security Capital Australia (AFSL 436915) who are amongst Australia's most successful private property syndicators.
