SES TECHNOLOGIES - Key Persons
Mr. Calvert began his career in the Alternative Fuel Vehicle industry in 1982 as national sales manager for Advanced Fuel Systems located in Wichita, KS. Since that beginning, Mr. Calvert has been involved in many AFV programs, providing leadership and direction for manufacturers, utility companies, governments, private companies, organizations and industry leaders. In 1992, Mr. Calvert co-founded Bachman NGV that, in 2003, became BAF Technologies. In 2009, BAF Technologies was acquired by Clean Energy Fuels.
Mrs. Burge has over 20 years of financial and operational experience in executive roles including CFO and Senior VP of Operations with DeAgostini, Ziff-Davis, Viacom and RR Donnelly. Currently employed as an award-winning, instructional faculty member for the College of Business at the University of Louisville undergraduate and Masters of Business programs teaching in the areas of accounting, IT and leadership. Mrs. Burge also, performs speaking engagements and consulting projects in the areas of corporate governance, finance/accounting, operations and IT development on an on-going basis. Mrs. Burge has a B.S. in Accounting with emphasis in IT from Eastern Illinois University (Summa Cum Laude) Masters in Business Administration with concentration in Organizational Behavior from Bowling Green State University.
Mr. Chou's education is through the University of Louisville Certificate in Accountancy, University of South Florida BA Political Science, BS Finance, Semester at Sea program through University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Chou is a current CPA Candidate, and member of the IMA Society. His previous employers are The University of Louisville Conn Center for Renewable Energy Research, Lehman and Martin Financial LLC, T. Rowe Price Financial.
Li An Chou - Founder, President
Li An is a seasoned entrepreneur, instrumental in the development of many successful ventures within the manufacturing and construction industries. With over 40 years of business experience, Li An has excelled at uniting international companies and individuals together to achieve a common goal. He is well-versed in the business and cultural styles of many countries.
Matt is the founder and current President of Relydes LLC, a manufacturing and design company for vertical lifts. His background in engineering management has helped streamline SES Technologies' work flow processes and efficiency. Matt has a mechanical engineering background with a focus on lean manufacturing techniques and quality assurance from both University of Kentucky and Northern Kentucky University.
Nathan has a strong electrical engineering background with experience in the following areas: embedded systems, circuit design, power electronics, software, and alternative energy. While at Northrop Grumman, he was often involved or heading all phases of a product's lifecycle development stages. With a history of Department of Defense customers, Mr. DesJardin has played a large role in delivering quality systems in a competitive market while establishing high customer satisfaction. Nathan is also the Lead Engineer of Relydes LLC. Nathan holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
