Shades by Ana was founded in the United States on March 13, 1991. Initially, the main motivation behind this project was the basic need to earn a living. At that time, we were only manufacturing flat roman shades-called "estores" in Spain, our homeland... Relatives of ours who have a drapery workroom in Los Angeles, California, taught us the basic manufacturing techniques used in the United States for flat roman shades, and the other products we now manufacture: Soft Romans, Casual Romans, Balloon and Austrian shades. We also make a wide variety of valances, so in demand in today's market. By specializing in these products, Shades by Ana has earned a prestigious reputation in South Florida... SHADES BY ANA manufactures to the trade only, and our products include: Roman, Balloon, and Austrian shades; as well as a variety of Valances used as stationary decorative top treatments.
