Eurus Rokkasho Solar Park is the biggest mega solar park in Japan. The park is operated by Eurus Rokkasho Solar Park Co. Ltd (Eurus Energy Holdings Corporation). About 51,000 solar panels are located on a site 253 ha in area (Takahoko district approx.140 ha, and Chitosetai north district approx. 113 ha), the plant capacity is 115 MW, and the plant produces power for 38,000 households annually. The solar park started operating in October 2015.
