Dr Tom Johnstone

Tom was born in Scotland in 1955 and is married with three children. He has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Glasgow. He also has an Honorary Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, USA, and an Honorary Doctorate in Science from Cranfield University, UK. Tom joined SKF in 1977 and has held several management positions within the SKF Group, the latest as Executive Vice President AB SKF and President of Automotive Division. From 2003 to 2014 he was President and CEO of AB SKF. During his tenure, SKF has evolved into a knowledge engineering company which enables customers to profit from more than 100 years of accumulated application expertise. He has also successfully advanced initiatives to integrate sustainability into the company's long term strategy and performances, for instance by launching BeyondZero. Klas Eklund is the Senior Economist of SEB, Adjunct professor of Economics at the University of Lund and member of the Government's Commission for the Future. Klas Eklund is a licentiate of economics from the Stockholm School of Economics; the topic of his thesis was long-term industrial growth and transformation. In the 1980?s he worked in the Ministry of Finance (as Deputy Under-Secretary of State) and in the Cabinet office (as economic adviser to the Prime Minister). In 1990-91 he chaired the government's Productivity Commission, analysing the poor Swedish growth performance in the 1970s and 80s, as well as drawing economic policy conclusions. Mr Eklund has also held a number of other positions, e.g member of the Board of Governors of the Swedish Central Bank, member of the board of the 5th General Pension fund, Chief economist at Sweden Post, Chairman of the government's Committee for Economic Studies of the Public Sector, Judge for the Swedish Quality Prize, etc. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences.

Linda Johansson recently joined Systembolaget to work with sustainable purchasing both regarding beverages, and other products and services, after working 13+ years at the H&M Group. The most recent role was as Sustainability manager at the Global Logistics function, focusing on supply chain and logistics responsible for driving the sustainability strategy when it comes to transportation and warehousing. Ms Johansson spent all together 11 years in India and Bangladesh, and started her professional career working for two years for a Swedish NGO in Dhaka, Bangladesh, focusing on sustainable agriculture practice and women's empowerment. From there she joined the H&M Group in roles supporting Indian and Bangladeshi garment and home item manufacturers on their journey from compliance to sustainability. Ms Johansson also was part of starting the H&M Group's sales organisation in India. This included all contacts with the DIPP, scouting office, logistics and store locations, hiring people and integrating a sustainable and ethical business practice from the start. From the work at the H&M Group Ms Johansson's experience covers the full supply chain from manufacturing to sales, always with a sustainability focus and by using approaches grounded in business and sustainability.
