Erik is a Principal of Sherman and Boone Realtors, Inc. and oversees the day to day operations of the corporation. Specializing in commercial real estate, Erik's involvement in managing large scale, ground up development projects (both commercial and residential) have given him a wide breadth of experience to better assist his brokerage clientele. He holds Real Estate Broker's licenses in California and Colorado.
Additionally, Erik is a principal of Sphere Management, LLC which specializes in Real Estate Development, Investment and Asset Management. He also is the sole owner of SBA Commercial Inc. which is active in both California and Colorado.
Erik was born and raised in Santa Cruz. He graduated from the University of the Pacific (Stockton, CA) with a B.S. degree in Business Administration with specializations in Finance and Real Estate. While at Pacific, Erik was a member of the intercollegiate baseball team earning awards from the Pacific Athletic Honor Society. A fourth generation "Santa Cruzan", Erik graduated from Harbor High School. He and his wife Shayna reside in Santa Cruz County with their sons, Kyle, Cameron and Brayden.

James Doyle graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Legal Studies and was prepared to enter a career in Law, when he purchased his first investment property and realized he had discovered his passion. From 2011-2016 James became an expert in trustee sales overseeing the purchase, rehabilitation, and resale of over 50 homes. Concurrently, he was a founding member of The Bacorn Group which quickly became one of the Top Five Real Estate Teams in Santa Cruz County.
After much success in the residential market, James's skills for turning around poor performing assets, seamlessly lent themselves to commercial endeavors. His first project involved the repositioning of a long vacant 12,000 foot office building in Downtown Santa Cruz, into a thriving, profitable, and fully leased asset.
His focus on both long and short-term investments, while seamlessly managing inventory in a volatile market, have been the foundation of his success. While his detailed assessments have certainly been key to his own acquisition process, James finds true satisfaction in analyzing investment properties for his clients that will provide the greatest success for their investment goals.

As a founder of Sherman and Boone Realtors, Martin has over 35 years of experience in Santa Cruz County real estate. He is a member of a real estate and investment team with Erik Barbic, Robin Sherman, Sheila Sutphin, and Chris Johnson to better serve his clients' needs.
Martin has a Masters Degree in Systems Management and has advanced real estate and tax training. He specializes in investments, equity lending, development projects, and syndications. His hobbies are golf, computers, tennis, and flying as a commercial pilot.

Megan Gooch is a young and energetic Commercial Real Estate Agent. Megan's journey in real estate began as a front desk associate. It was there that she developed her skills working in property management as well as coordinating several transactions while acquiring her license. Over the years, Megan has developed a deep understanding of the local commercial market. She has experience representing both landlords and tenants, demonstrating her versatility. Megan works closely with her mother/partner, Jackie.
Megan attended San Diego State University and gradated in 2014 with a degree in Business Management. She now resides in Soquel with her husband and son, Weston

Nick is a true Santa Cruz local. After graduating from Harbor High and pursing his degree in Business, he returned to Santa Cruz to build a career in the neighborhood he loves. Nick's deep ties to our local community have allowed him to build long-lasting relationships with his clients and colleagues. Nick lives in Scotts Valley with his wife and three young children. He is a devout Chicago Sports Fan and is still celebrating the Cubs 2016 World Series Win.
Tanya began her career in the real estate field working as an Office Support Manager for a top real estate producer. After learning the ropes, she decided her calling was to assist others in making their dreams come true.
Tanya grew up in Watsonville and attended local schools. She has many years experience in the legal field which will is an asset to her career in the real estate industry.
She is married to her husband of 14 years and resides in Corralitos with her two dogs.
Her family has strong ties in the nursery and flower business. She especially enjoys investing in real estate in and outside the area, gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
