SolarSpring was founded in 2009 by Fraunhofer ISE. Today we are a global leader in membrane distillation and drinking water production... Research institutions, universities and laboratories use membrane distillation plants designed by us for their own analyses, whereby we can provide consulting services on request. Our plants are used for research in Qatar, Riyadh and Spain, for example... Founded in 2009 as a spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems in Freiburg, Germany, the SolarSpring GmbH, membrane solutions has grown into a world market leader for membrane distillation technology.
