My background is more multi-faceted than most. I've always had an entrepreneurial spirit I suppose. In the past 15-20 years I have worked in operations, operations management, business to business sales, account management, software development, and accounts receivable and accounting. I've owned my own businesses, and I've worked for both small, medium, and large businesses. I've been a contractor, an employee and also a businesses owner. I like to think that this background helps me to see a bigger picture from a business standpoint. As a manager, I think it has also helped me to see some things from other team members' perspectives.
In each working space that I've joined in the last decade, I've tried to help out in any way that I could. My vision often goes well beyond my title and the daily expectations of the job I was hired for. I try to perform my job with excellence of course! I'm also always on the lookout for places where I can add some amount of value beyond what is generally expected. I'm looking forward to working more with the greater team at Sigma and helping this team out in any way that I can.
I am a Mechanical Engineer with over a decade of professional experience, on top of a lifetime of natural curiosity about how things work. I find great satisfaction in helping people solve problems, which can be through a new product, process, or simply working with someone on a challenging issue. I have a keen eye for detail while also thinking at a system level.
I have experience with new product design for high and low volumes, with a focus on verification and validation of designs, in a variety of industries: consumer electronics, durable goods, chip manufacturing, and medical devices. I work well on any team size, including individually. My past duties have included: concept development/selection, new part creation/documentation, BOM management, testing, failure analysis, first article assembly/debug, interfacing with systems, electrical, SW/FW, and other engineering disciplines to meet client deliverables. I look forward to being able to work with you on your next project!
As a Project Manager, I strive to empower my team to find creative solutions to every problem. I have worn many hats in the 10+ years I've worked with the Sigma Design; within engineering, operations, product testing, and manufacturing. My technical experience combined with my creative and liberal arts background provides a unique set of skills. As the Lead Test Technician at Sigma Design, I coordinate with customers and engineers regarding test plans and standards. I have 6+ years of hands-on testing experience, as well as inventory management and quality control. I really enjoy problem solving and will take any opportunity to exceed expectations. I have been an Electro-Mechanical Engineer at Sigma Design since 2006. My experience bridges the entire range of product development including consumer products, machine design, production tooling, system automation, and software development. I enjoy helping our clients refine their ideas into real world solutions. At the end of 2022 I took on the role of Controls Engineering Manager, hoping to further share my experience with my colleagues.

I have experience working in manufacturing environments for the past several years and have an additional six years of experience in customer service. I always aim to put out my best work and effort, not only for myself, but for the company and clients. I believe that if I do well in my role and support others, it can create a positive environment and increase morale.
I am a Mechanical Engineer with a background in manufacturing. I started in the manufacturing space in 2017 and focused primarily on process improvement and automation. I started doing more design work in 2021 and am enjoying learning from the broad array of projects and opportunities that Sigma Design provides.
I have been with Sigma for over 5 years, as both a Mechanical and Controls Engineer. I have a diverse work background, mostly in industrial automation, so I greatly enjoy the wide variety of work at Sigma!
I'm an Engineering Technician with roughly 10 years of experience in various manufacturing and assembly sectors. Working at Sigma Design has such a fun and creative way to collaborate with teams on different projects.
As a Mechanical Engineer with 20+ years of experience at Sigma Design I have experienced a wide variety of clients and projects that have taken me around the world. I've worked on pest control to printers, lasers to lithography machines and a lot in between. This has provided me extensive experience in all phases of product development, custom automation and assembly line tooling, pneumatic controls systems and capital equipment manufacturing for the semiconductor industry to name a few. My innate curiosity and wide skillset allow me to be immediately effective when asked to help where problems are poorly defined and poorly understood. I mesh well with teams of all sizes and characters, which is invaluable when building customer relations leading to long term engagements that are enjoyable and rewarding for everyone involved.
I have been doing Process and Manufacturing Engineering work with Sigma Design since 2015. I have designed manufacturing line layouts, test processes, assembly fixtures and more as well as training and coordinating teams of assembly technicians. I enjoy coming up with ways to maximize assembly ease and efficiency in large projects. I hope to design technology that improves the life of people everywhere!
As Shop Assistant I have served the Sigma Design shop as a Jill-of-all-trades; working in the cleanroom, with the MJF printers, pickling, passivating, assisting with QC and more. I am always thrilled to learn more about the projects we are working on and interface with people from other teams. I take great pride in putting out high quality work with a quick turn around time, a great attitude, and being able to adapt as I balance different tasks.
My background in Semiconductor Manufacturing instilled in me a high quality standard and sense of urgency and efficiency. The culture and core values of Sigma Design captured my attention and stood out to me, ultimately leading me to make a departure from that industry to enjoy what makes Sigma so special.

- Senior Electronics Engineer
I'm an electrical engineer with more than 20 years' experience designing digital, analog and mixed-signal circuits, for everything from battery-powered "wearables" to large systems. I especially enjoy analog design and troubleshooting, and I have taken many projects through the regulatory process.
I have been working as an engineer for Sigma Design since 2011. The past few years I have had the pleasure to be placed on-site with one of our clients building a software product that has enhanced their ability to do prototyping and low volume manufacturing here in the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy being a part of a manufacturing team and it has been very rewarding to help enable onshoring of that work while also building a great relationship with the client.
My educational background is in Chemical Engineering, graduating from Oregon State University in 2001. I worked for 5 years as a Product Engineer for Hewlett Packard in their Silicon Fabs in Corvallis and Singapore. After that I transferred to HP's Vancouver site and began a role as a Mechanical/Firmware Engineer focused on printhead health. I like to describe what I did as being in charge of the car wash inside the printer working both on the mechanical design of the service station as well as the algorithms controlling servicing.
After my time at HP ended Sigma gave me the chance to continue to build on the programming skills I had developed while working at HP. My favorite thing about working for Sigma is that there is both the opportunity and the expectation that we will grow our skills to meet the needs of our customers.
