Brian Benini

Education: BS - Mechanical Engineering - Penn State University MS - Materials Science and Engineering - Case Western Reserve University Brian Benini joined SinterFire in May 2010 full time as a Product Development Engineer. He has been with the company since its inception in 1998 and has held many different jobs including positions in maintenance, production, quality, finance and currently Engineering Program Management. Brian spends most of his time on new products and is responsible for following projects from creation to final SKU. This often entails all aspects of design, manufacturing, ballistic engineering and IP filing. Highlights of Brian's career include the design of several bullet calibers and some formulations that are covered by domestic and international patents. Brian lives close to the facility in Kersey, PA with his wife Lisa and two sons Harrison and Max. Personal interests include riding/racing mountain bikes and motorcycles as well as a passion for all things outdoors.

Greg Benini

Education: BS-Mechanical Engineering - Penn State University Greg Benini rejoined SinterFire in November of 2018 as a Sales Engineer responsible for customer orders, account management, marketing, new product development and assisting with scheduling. Greg was promoted to Director of Sales and Marketing in May 2021. Prior to joining SinterFire, Greg fulfilled many roles across various industries. Most recently in the automotive industry holding engineering positions in tool design and product/process development for new launch activities, as well as account manager/sales engineer roles, where he was extensively involved with detailed part quoting and sales functions. He gained additional technical design experience at a military accessory manufacturer specializing in transparent armor systems that were installed on various land vehicle and maritime applications. His diverse experience and fast-paced nature make Greg invaluable in his role at SinterFire. Greg lives within a few miles of the facility in Kersey, PA with his wife. He enjoys spending time with his family, physical fitness, many outdoor activities and has a passion for motorcycles.

Kevin Geist

Education: BS - Mechanical Engineering - Penn State University MS - Engineering Science - Penn State University Kevin Geist joined SinterFire in July of 2015 as a Senior Engineer. In this position, Kevin is involved with design and development of new products, as well as continuous improvement of current products and processes. Kevin has been in the powder metal industry for 12 years with roles as a technician, a researcher and engineer. Previous roles for Kevin include Senior Engineer at PMG, an automotive shock absorber company. In this role, he was responsible for new product launch and new tool and process design. He has also gained skills in Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and the automotive Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). Kevin lives in St. Marys, PA, with his wife Karen. Kevin's hobbies include racing motocross, automotive mechanics, metal fabrication and all outdoor activities - hunting, shooting, hiking and camping.
